How are you all feeling about it?
I personally want the defenders either removed or nerfed, in games where you have 1 acting as a Goalie it somewhat works, but if there are 2-3 per team it just goes to shits, multiple stalemate draw games where neither side makes any scores and can’t progress in daily challenges towards the new paint (only reason to even touch this mode tbh)
The defender is not as bad as the Goalie they tried to add at one point in the past with the big spammaple fuck-off forcefield blast bigger than the entire goal, but it’s still a pain.
Possibly the most obvious thing to do would be to just remove the Daze from them to give matches any kind of a possibility to not be such stalemates that just waste time and energy

I got through the first day, but actually scoring a goal on the second day is a total crapshoot for me, so I stopped there.

Well, what can I say on the 1st day a completely random goal in the 1st round directly, but that’s it. After 4 rounds, unnerved by the mode… 2nd day 20 do not round a goal. 3. Day 3 play 5 goals, no idea how. Day 4: 15 rounds, a goal ridiculously real. Day 5 eight rounds no goal. I dread day 7…3 goal no longer in the mood. Rocket League with weapons is all well and good. by the way, I hate Rocket League… but the brawl is completely cramped, the vehicles too sluggish, the weapons unsuitable and generally very unsympathetic. Thumbs down, unfortunately.

Yeah this mode has never felt as good as it did before the Supercharge flopdate, camera angle aneurysms, wheel grip fumbling, speed cap sharting and possibly some other oppsie poopsie updatie wupdatie hehe changes I forgot
They tried so hard to make it work again and updated the builds over and over again and tried adding new ones but it just never felt as good as the OG Steel Championship did. Just goes to show how “necessary” and “great” all these changes they did were
I agree that one should be a designated goalie. It worked perfectly in the past.
But what irks me most is that idiotic locked focus on the ball. I mean who the hell is that for now? Toddlers? I refuse to use it!
Sick of this hand-holding that panders to useless players.
They should completely remove aim assist from the game as well while at it

I don’t really play ranked games in any game I play in, but now I know why yall complain all the time, GOD DAME my teammates were so trash, game reviewers would have a better time playing
Aim assist is one of the most asinine decisions Targem have made (and they made a bunch). They have a habit of changing brawls that need NO change! Just changing it for the sake of change to look like they’re doing something and make things take longer than they need to be.
