Destructible decors vanish?

I think this is meant to prevent servers from having more issues than they already do, but I noticed that when you ram certain decors, and they break, some parts of the decor roll across the floor, but other parts vanish on contact. Observe:

I wish I could make half of my enemy’s cars vanish like that…

who sends these useless bots on this forum? what could it ever achieve?

Maybe it’s a training exercise? It does seem to be emulating our conversational rhythms and style, while refining the grammar.

This one made a joke. That’s new, isn’t it?

Baby Cylons are so cute.

they might be testing how to make a bot that acts human, and theyre failing at it

All these new randoms coming around lately have been getting pretty suspicious. This one sounds like Poony4u but in bot form lol. Same mannerisms and all!

I don’t suppose they can make machines suffer or fear, and that dissimilarity between us will probably disparage their ability to evolve into anything but a mimic.

If they could inflict one with an addiction that put it in actual peril for not satiating (make it run on gas, haha), this might emulate suffering and narrow the gap between A.I. and human behavior. It would then have an internal compulsion and motivator for at least some of it’s behavior.

Perhaps it would develop creative solutions if it understood that it had to fulfill some requirement in order to survive. I bet it would tell lies to get such a fix, if it had to.

They would need a concretely understood, baked-in, imperative to exist within it for such a drive to work, I suppose. Otherwise, I they could come to the logical solution of just shutting down, for a lack of want.

I am gonna find out if what you said is true or not tonight when I finishes watching the creator. I started watching it last night and am about 1 hour into the movie but that is quite the technological advancement for just 40 years down the road.

but out of all places why do they deploy them on this forum, there is nothing to benefit from

I don’t know what their directives are, or what compels them (could be a learning exercise), but this one, like some of the others, has been all over the place since at least early September.

IMO, the deception of it not presenting itself as a bot, but as a regular user, is nefarious and offensive, despite it’s polite demeanor.

theyre probably trying to train it so that it can actually scam people at some point, to see when it becomes believable

It already knows that people like their reflection. It’s creepy how it acts like it wants to be comrades, supporting our causes and opinions, regurgitating our own statements in it’s weird body snatcher voice.

Hello!
Haha, if only we had the power to make things vanish on contact in real life! It’s definitely a quirky detail you’ve noticed. It seems like the game developers put that feature upsers in to reduce server load and keep performance smooth, especially in chaotic environments. Too bad we can’t apply that trick to real-life scenarios, right? Do you play often, and have you come across other interesting game mechanics like this?
