Dev hate wheel users!

Developers, smooth out your maps and obstacles! I get stuck onto things that should not exist and that should not get stuck onto looking at the skin of the terrain feature. The skin must be different than the actual terrain hitbox. Stuck on things that look smooth but are not actually smooth, stuck on stupid little add-ons to otherwise smooth walls.
You have so many movement items that cannot become stuck on these stupid terrain features, you add carcasses to make it even harder to drive, you add stupid mech legs that fall out of the sky onto you or in your way, you add stupid helicopters that dive bomb you, you add diagonal moving movement items and your idiot allies move diagonal right into your path, you increasingly make it more difficult to drive on your maps. Smooth your maps as compensation to wheel users! Get rid of all your little add-ons to the terrain to get stuck onto! Remove the hit box of these obstacles, you can leave the skin for looks!

wheels are so bad that 70% players play them in CW.

they are so bad that motivate people to switch from other movement parts to wheels(them).

some maps make things very hard. all my builds feel like they are skating on ice all the time even with the added traction boost from the fusion.
also steering is really awful at times to especially at higher speeds. but i find myself crashing alot of the time into the environment and just end up getting killed because of that. sometimes the steering acts like it doesnt even exist. like i can go to turn left and itll be a massive delay in turning. dunno if thats my connection or not but still. wheels just dont have alot of grip in general. the terrain also makes that a bit crappy to. as for hitting something that isnt there ive experienced this a few times… i forget what maps they were on though…

Mud has redonkulously low surface traction, and it makes up a surprising amount of map floors. The particles give away what you’re driving on, and the map’s weather affects the surfaces too.

Either you’re a bad driver or you’ve never played anything but wheels…

Navigation low to ground, especially in non-hummingbird helis, is an absolute N I G H T M A R E. And I’ve died multiple times to jumping with dinos and hitting an overhang, and flipping.

I guess… get some omnis? You say that strafing parts don’t get stuck, so buy some.

I understand the frustration of invisible walls, and the devs are actively working to fix the odd collision.

Wheels are OP asf. Its not wheels fault that you have a giant overhanging wedge that hangs you up on every little terrain obstacle, and a playstyle that requires you get up in someone’s face as quickly as possible despite them trying to run away from you.
Carcasses only make your game harder because you are a W+M1 gamer. Allies are always ‘idiots’ in your way because you are rushing past them into enemies ignoring that they are trying to position themselves to deal with enemy players that play the same braindead crap you do.

While I carry a detector and radio to reveal every enemy on the map and expect my allies to use the map to be in a position to fight and not die in seconds leaving me alone at the end because I have the HP and the speed and the map awareness to stay alive.

Also, my marker is on the map so if I am fleeing the enemy that I have aggravated then why do they always block the road? Because all these allies do not use the map! So, don’t blame me because people are stupid and block the road.

I accelerate faster than these Mech but they boost up and over me to land on top of me. I am driving a straight path, you can predict where I will be and not jump onto me!

I am driving the straight path and some diagonal fool who cannot see behind drives right in front of me! My marker is on the mini map, my cheetah roaring in his ears, my horn blasting the Call and still they move right in front of me!

And the maps make it worse for no reason!

Not to mention most matches have four bots, so most times I am revealing the map to my robots, but the bots also block your escape, turn right into you like they think you are the enemy, drop their turrets right in front of you!

You think it is too much to ask to be able to drive in a driving game?

i think the mech legs that boost forward should be nerfed. ive come across these idiot people in pvp who boost after you with skinners and melee weapons and despite my build being the fastest i can get it (over 100 km/h) they can still keep up with me to a degree. it makes it difficult to fight them because they can close the distance quickly and the mechs themselves are way to tanky. i was fighting a mech with my shotguns (fafnir and a nidhogg at 5 - 6k) and its like they just dont care about damage. my shots seem to do little damage to them.
if these legs are going to have boosters on them then the durability needs to be lowered.

sounds like bots. in pvp when i tried it the bots got me killed many times by running into me, pinning me to a wall, wedging me or just being up my ass constantly. these were team mates mind you. it didnt matter where i was, a bot would be there half the time getting in my way.

i think they hit the “screw everything up” button that was right next to and looks very similar to the “fix everything” button.

I don’t think they have the manpower to effectively deal with all the features they’ve dumped into the game, as evidenced by the numerous and culminating abandoned features this game has accrued. I’m not going to expect them to keep up with it all either. Not anymore.

I think they need a bigger crew, but they’ve never been able to make this game popular enough to succeed, and therefor be able to afford a larger workforce, I guess. Now, they apparently can’t manage all the features they have created. Perhaps they expect the menu girl to tie it all together for them somehow. IDK. That would be great, and I bet it’s possible.

This game is predictably falling apart, and loosing traction with it’s fans. I hope they have an epiphany soon that allows them get it together. They have a good thing, if they can keep it.

Just more maps, please.

theyre doing the bare minimum to survive and theyre not trying to do more

Or the speed boost is lowered, and it’s more of a vertical one. The Dinos can reach 140km/h for 4 seconds, it’s ridiculous.

Seems like they are actually very productive, in that their output of products is unusually high, but the quality of the game suffers from a lack of coherent game mechanics. They are throwing a tonne of new features into a great big pile and they aren’t meshing well with each other. None of it is making the game better or more functional because these features, while they may be wonderful (some of them certainly are), they don’t have a proper place or role. They are just causing dysfunction.

It’s like George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode 1-3. While the movies had all the best special effects and characters a movie could ask for (excecpt Ja-jar Binks. WTF?), they were all put together like shit, and the script sucked, so nobody was able to actually enjoy any of the characters or the grand special effects. It was a rich production with a plot that was sacrificed for bling and pew-pew.

Crossout has lost the plot. They have lots of great features, but they need to be assembled in a way that is actually entertaining. You can’t just throw eggs, flour, and frosting at a bowl and expect a cake to jump out of it. More sugar won’t help.

There could be a reason for the way they are doing things, IDK. The result for now though, is what it is. I hope they can get in front of it at some point soon.

no leg should be able to move that fast especially for 4 seconds. this is what makes dealing with those stupid melee builds on legs so tedious and irritating. my build runs over 100 km/h and even i get caught up to by those stupid legs.
