I’m actually kind of excited about this event, the more I think about it.
Bring it on!
I’m actually kind of excited about this event, the more I think about it.
Bring it on!
The actual event is free to enter as far as i know.
But yeah, my main concern is, they might add booster packs or something. You pay 1 dollar for a crate which contains random blue/teal/purple parts. Basically microtransactions.
Or having the rewards gated on a paywall (like eventpass).
Other than that looking forward to see this mode lol
I’m ok
cocktail Molotov’s are simple to make, you only have to know the ratio between gasoline and a oily substance, be a bit creative with the fuse, you can do it anywhere
What’s out there this days you would need a rocket science knowledge to be able to run them, specialized facilities and so on.
take MG34 as an example, made from exquisite metal league and clever engineer and design, a single weapon took 150 man hours to make , in the terrain was very sensible, lots of problems to run one. The MG-42 was far superior in ROF, more roughed build, simpler, faster to make and cheaper.
AK-47 is still used today, you are able to run one practically under any conditions
Reliable, simple, cheap…but no, let’s put laser and stuff in the wasteland.
I assure you someone has been drinking but wasn’t me.
They are clearly testing a new thing , at least for now it seems to be free
The higher you get will be Epic parts that you can lose in battle, it seems they are also testing a new balance /sink money mechanics.
everything from teal downwards you won’t lose.
I could be wrong but will be no different like special operations where you can spend some resources to craft something for that said operation
Sounds…neat? Not sure, I’ve never played any extraction loot shooters or something that people call this kind of gamemode, and looking at descriptions of such games, some stuff I like some I am not a big fan of. But it could be pretty neat, only playing the mode will tell how good/bad it is, but if it’s fun yay will play, if it’s too tedious, don’t need to play. Depending on how fun/the rewards for normal game are I’ll see how much I will be grinding this, but at least the big big prize cabin does not seem to be too must-have (Beacon 11 is not great and while this might be better, I still can live without a Beacon 11 2.0)
Thank god the “big thing coming” was not some mandatory forced change to the game everyone has to deal with and a new thing people genuinely interested in it can play, but at the same time people not too interested in it can ignore, as far as I am lead to believe
I suspect the way we’ll be playing this mode is mostly with lower level weapons, and only using our epic guns to complete specific challenges, knowing that we’ll probably lose them.
I really hope they’re not doing some kind of P2W thing with the epics.
One of the things I like about this event is that it has always bugged me that the higher tier weapons are so big that it makes it difficult to make builds where the scale isn’t all messed up.
I wonder if we’ll even have generators in this mode?
i think you mean molotov cocktails, not the other way around ![]()
like i said, knowing their track record, it will be.
i sure hope so.
a battlepass inside of a battlepass.
I’ve just woke up and watched the stream (skipped alot of parts though), yeah the event is free but some of the rewards are gated behind p2w (lmao), though you get enough in free version to get something
Okay, so you get 400 spark plugs for free from the BP. If you get a paid one you get 1700 more (200+200+250+250+300+500). Really dissapointing as the disbalance shows.
You need 750-1500 to get one fused epic for the maingame btw. So it’s like in our current battlepasses we have where you don’t get enough bearings/lighters for even a single epic lmao, you only get a teal part.
Although you can get more spark plugs from the leaderboard so if you’re a good player that’s not a big issue
GEE, WHO DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!?!?!??
somebody better pick up that phone… because i f***ing CALLED IT!

Obviously it would be nice if the whole thing was free, but assuming it costs the same as a normal BP, I’m not too upset about this structure.
Has anyone done the math on how high someone could progress through ranking high on the leaderboard? I’m not personally going to try that, because BPs are cheap and I’m not competitive enough to think I’m going to rank particularly high. However, I am curious how much a dedicated and skilled player could get for free.
Waaait they expect us to buy yet another pass to get the items to use in regular game from this brainfart mode?
Lol, lmao even
RIGHT!? LOL nah they can screw right off.
It sounds like you shouldn’t have any problem playing the new mode for free. You’d only need to buy the pass if you wanted to stock up on pre-fused items.
If I am misinterpreting how it works, please let me know how it’s actually structured.
So, I just watched the Crossout video for Rust and Dust and also tuned into JBRiders youtube video to get a better understanding on this new minigame / BP within Crossout.
To be fair I think it gives some perks to beginning players and may help offset some leveling up to 15 with the regular factions. (Thats cool)
There are some decor and paints which if you missed out on may be able to get. This is also cool.
However, for me 90% of the stuff are items that I already possess.
Shrug… this is a must miss for me. But if others go for it good for them.
Thanks for your guys insight and feedback. You all rock the Kasbah!

I also saw JBRider vid.
This is so familiar to me plus no market.
In Warship the economics of going to battle in a T2 ship ( for the sake of argument ) was much more doable and we earned a lot of credits and stuff ( after the market, ammo and repair cost… if i remember… were subtracted to our earnings ).
Now running a t10 ship was another thing we had to use all kinds of multipliers ( which had a cost )…
without credits, XP multipliers, we could do 200k/300 k damage, get kraken ( sink 5 ships ) and in the end we barely make even at the end…a normal account would be negative.
So what we used to do?
We used to do battles with t6, 7 , 8 ships to get those credits up, to be able to do some battles with the t10 ships.
This is to address what JBrider is saying at this point
I don’t think we will lose epic items, if we repair them
In this particular case, the repair cost 600 coins and he just earned 104 coins.
What i understood from this video
Do a few battles with rare builds to finance your battles with epic parts, repair them if and when needed, when you are out of coins, go back to previous builds and repeat.
I’m liking this " new "crossout. ( for now , let’s see in a couple of years if we end up exactly where we are now.)
Crossout always felt like a mini game inside a game of stock markets, with this changes combat will take the front seat… market’s gone…finally.
Other thing that could be out is the freaking packs, useless things …i never got it.
50, 60, 70 euros for something that’s an overpriced art build.
At this point, i’m excited but also a lot nervous cause a lot can go wrong and very fast…and this is the devs that turned Mad Max to Mad Max in Space, the last frontier and beyond… and then he returned with a bunch of gadgets
For some reason i’m here in crossout not in WoWs.
Fingers crossed…
Sigh worse then I thought.
wow this is so cool were back were so back!!!

After watching the JB video my excitement for the new mode is all gone and I will be ignoring it completely. I might not be very smart with my money but even i am not as dumb as to buy this load of crap lmao
Also new UI looks like dogshit as expected
I’m not sure if I’ll buy the BP, since it looks like the cabin and possibly that module are the only new parts, but I am excited to play the mode.
I like playing smaller low PS cars, but I don’t like to seal club and also don’t like the wait times of low PS. If this means I can play some stripped down cars-that-look-like-cars, I’m interested.
But possibly not interested enough to spend any money. Then again, that cabin is kind of cool.
