Engineers, Steppenwolfs and Scavengers — assemble! Features of the major September update. Part 2

Part 1

Hello, survivors!

Let’s continue exploring the new features of the upcoming season. In this part, we’ll talk about the legendary radar (no expedition should start without one!) and autocannon. Let’s check out the details!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.

Legendary autocannon

The new autocannon from the Steppenwolfs is an ideological successor of the “AC64 Joule”, but with an explosive twist.

Its perk is passive, and it works best if you have a lot of endurance in battle. As you spend ammo, the autocannon’s projectiles receive bonuses to blast radius and damage. The best tactic is thus having three autocannons, quickly spending most of their ammo, and then making good use of the remaining amplified shots.

Legendary radar

The Engineers have produced the crowning jewel of the radar technology branch by combining the features of “RD-2 Keen”, “Doppler” and “Verifier” in one device. This is the first legendary radar in the game, and it was created to provide you with more freedom when designing your car, since every energy point is precious.

One energy point will give you a nice enemy detection and ally information transmission radius, and the periodic scanning of the radar will highlight opponents hiding in cover, mines, and invisible targets for a few seconds. However, if you still have energy to spend, you can mount the second half of the module! This way, the radar will have a shorter interval between the scans and increased highlighting time and detection radius.

Structural parts

This concludes the second devblog entry. Stay tuned for more news on what the Brotherhood has in

uhh… what?
so this comes in two parts?
im curious about how big itll be. it looks small tbh but it also looks like a boom box taken apart and put back together weirdly lol. am i going to get the wasteland radio station on that thing to?

so this is going to be an autocannon with a magazine clip on it? or is it just going to be something like… “spend X amount of ammo to get the remaining X amount boosted” kind of thing?
it seems like an odd thing to me. either this will have a fixed clip size or it goes based on the amount of ammo you have left in your reserves. so say you have 100 max ammo, you use 75 of that ammo to get the remaining 25 boosted. or maybe itll be higher then that, something like 30 - 40%.

its really confusing me cause it says this as well but maybe thats just them messing up the translations?

ohhh i actually like the look of these structural parts. im hoping we can get some more like this but maybe with the back lip on them not being there. id like a 4L x 1W x 2H or even smaller ones like 4L x 1W x 1H, 3L x 1W x 2H, 3L x 1W x 1H or any of these variations.
(L = Length, W = Width, H = Height)
