What to expect in the upcoming update. December 2025

Hello, survivors!

The holidays are near. The days are growing shorter, the view from the window shines with snow, and many of you have already prepared for the festivities. The fir trees are decorated, the fairy lights are glowing, the presents are packed.

This week, the Wasteland will also be filled with holiday atmosphere. This year, we have prepared new snowy decorations for your garage, so that you can feel comfortable and cozy while building your dream car, testing it out at the range, or just chatting with friends.

But the fairy tale atmosphere is not the only thing that will await you in the game. The December update will bring: the long-requested “white” generator that gives one energy point, a relic autocannon, and the return of your favourite brawls. Let’s take a closer look!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.

Relic autocannon “AC96 Anomaly”

The crown jewel of the “AC80 Stillwind” technology branch. Just as its predecessor, the “Anomaly” is at its strongest at longer distances. The autocannon further develops the Nomads’ long-range play style by hitting harder with each shot.

As the weapon heats up, its damage and blast radius increase, but rate of fire drops significantly. The maximum bonuses are achieved at 40% heating, so you will have enough time to admire the “AC96 Anomaly” in all its glory, before it overheats.

Heavy generator “Toughie”

The long-awaited “white” generator that provides one energy point. A real toughie! We hope you’ll spend the extra energy wisely.

Winter decorations and festive event

As with the recent Halloween celebration, we’ve updated the visual and sound design of the Garage to fit the winter holidays theme. Colourful fairy lights, beautiful fir tree, and a heap of other decorations await! And if you decide to go into the test-drive, you will notice many new details as well. Here are a few examples:

The festive workbench will also make an appearance. It will provide you with a chance to craft thematic decorations, as well as various upgraded parts.

The next update will also bring back the following brawls: “Dronapocalypse”, “Sea battle”, “For the Emperor!”, “Feathered mayhem” and the already familiar festive PvE brawl. The update will also implement a number of improvements and bug fixes.

That’s all for now. See you in the future entries in the next year. Happy holidays and good luck in battles!

This is something I’ve wanted for a while now! Sweet.

Aww the snowpeople finally had a kid! Nice to see a complete family unit.

Glad to see the 1-point gen also; that was needed for a long time. Wade can plug himself into it for a quick recharge.

Gonna be Crazy, Destroyer will be weak compared to this.

I was Wrong, more damage per shot. I thought initially it would be like Gungnir, more accurate when it gets slower.

I’ll take a white 1 energy Generator lol, but i don’t think anyone asked for it. Of course people asked, but we ask for soooo many things that never comes.
Like me Begging for Hovers to be Nerfed… Hasn’t happened.

As for the snow, I really like the Paths driven through the snow.
Halloween and Christmas is my favorite times in crossout, summer is usually decent too.

i wish we had a decoration that can turn your garage into a winter theme all year round. i like the snowy themes of the garages but its sad that they are temporary.

Boring.

The generator seems useless. Matchmaking isn’t strict enough for less than 130 PS to make a difference.

I rather have a smaller and lighter 5 energy generator , or more durability 6 energy generator.

Well, many more months of not being able to see the terrain. Back to driving from memory and the mini map.

That’s what I Feel too. Apparently it was a popular ask but i don’t see why.
It will be nice to have.
But one energy to have an Explosive bomb generator attached, i dunnno.

i’ve never even Considered people could have that problem.
I’ve memorized all the maps by now, we rarely ever get new maps.

My biggest issue with snow (more so IRL ) is it’s Blinding lol. My eyes aren’t great with light \ bright lights.
I just turn my tv brightness down a bit

It’s the difference of having a radar detector or not on some builds. Similarly it can be the difference between having faster reload or not.

The common generator will finally give back the one energy stolen from The Call without raising my power score or mass significantly.

im questioning how small the generator will be and how much hp it will have. the ampere is incredibly frail for a generator and can blow up if you even look at it wrong. im hoping it has enough hp to make it not blow up nearly instantly if it hits a slight incline. cause if the generator has something like 10 hp then i dont see it getting much use. i think the ampere got buffed slightly to its hp iirc?

I don’t know but those are good questions. Does it really matter though if you can hit a normal gen easily?

i think it depends on the explosion damage as opposed to the hp of the thing. i dont think itll be that damaging but if the hp is to low then itll be very difficult running it on builds. we both know that the ampere had i believe 30 or 45 hp and the epic generator had around the same before. i remember they did get a small buff to their hp cause they were being popped way to easily due to fire puddles and ice damage. the thing im worried about is the generators hp cause if it has low hp, like 10 for example, then who would ever want to run that? the slightest nudge and youll lose it.
the explosion damage also plays a factor here to, i think it should have no explosion damage or at the very least do the minimal damage upon exploding. its a common generator so maybe it wont have that big of an explosion. the amperes damage can be minimized with fusions and even then it has very low explosion damage so im guessing the common one will be nonexistent?

That is kind of all up to you and how you play if you expose it to a basic hit. I personally do not like having enemy players behind me so I turn my vehicle towards them. I see this no worse than carrying ammo but you might be thinking about it in the before the boom boom times.

At this point, most of us should be used to hiding explosives in our build and dealing with the consequences.

Back when gas generators had almost no HP, they were very hard to use in builds, but now they’re much more useable.

For me, I enjoy making smaller minimalist builds, and I’ve made many where I only needed one extra point of energy to make it work, but had to use a two energy generator and slap on a module I didn’t really need to use up that extra point.
Even if it’s relatively fragile, I will still have builds where it’s the right choice.

And it will also be good for newer low PS players, as it will make it easier for them to keep their PS low while still incorporating a module or two.

Boy oh boy another gun I’ll never get to use or play with. But with a functionality like that, I kinda feel ok with that. Gungnir already sucks because of the rate of fire slowing down. Though it gets a damage and blast radius boost, while the gungnir has absolutely nothing going for it, but eve with the cold gun the slowening of rate of fire is annoying to deal with

I’m all for new relics being ass tbh that’s all relic users deserve
