What to expect in the upcoming update. September 2025

Hello, survivors!

Despite the cold autumn weather, it’s always hot in the Wasteland. While you were experimenting with the new Steppenwolfs toys, we’ve prepared some news about the September update.

You can expect: the comeback of your favourite brawls, including the “Witch Hunt”; improvements to the Assembly assistant; and the previously announced balance changes. Let’s take a closer look!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This also applies to all visual materials.

Witch Hunt

Halloween is just around the corner… The next update will celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year. And the “Witch Hunt” is back! The classic brawl will have an expanded pool of preset blueprints to use. Each hunt will be uniquely interesting.

The October update will bring even more Halloween celebrations. We’re already working on new special brawls, an event, decorations, and much more. We hope you’ll be terrifyingly… entertained!

Brawls in the update

A whole bunch of popular Wasteland brawls will return in the next update.

Test your aim and manoeuvrability in the “Scorpions” relaunch. Choose your element in the invigoratingly hot “Ice and fire” brawl. Experience the grandeur of legendary armoured cars created by other players in “Legends of the exhibition”. Ravagers are perfect for creating the spooky Halloween atmosphere. We will continue the relaunch of the “Operation” series of brawls.

Assembly assistant expansion

We continue working on new features to support survivors’ endeavour to build great armoured cars. In the September update, we will expand the pool of parts available in the Assistant, so there will be even more variety among its creations.

We understand that this feature is not so important for seasoned Wasteland veterans. But for rookies of the Valley, the Assistant is a very useful and important tool.

In addition, the update will include a number of other changes and improvements. It will also fix known bugs and release the previously announced balance changes.

And remember that Elephants never forget (what is that about?). See you in future developer blog entries and other news. Good luck in battle!

im guessing we are getting a legendary version of the elephant in the next battlepass or something?

it looks like the patch notes is missing the patch for the 1k average steam players

Unfortunately the worst brawl ever. Just balloon tag. Nothing about it is Halloween… Shame really… I was hoping for a good brawl for Halloween this year… Maybe pvp vs crazy monster bots. Idk but anything else would be better
I’ll play solely for the rewards, hope they’re good.
I’m loving red light tho. Grinding as much as I can before it’s gone. A week is so short

come on, have some compassion. the russian child who programmed the brawl gets paid 2 dollars a month

Not every brawl is for every person. There are brawls I go all-out for, and some I just do the bare minimum to get the rewards. Some brawls I don’t even finish (or even start). Same with raids; I like half of them, and the other half, I find to be tedious and just ignore them. You don’t have to like every single mode the game offers, but that doesn’t mean nobody else likes it either.

I am excited for the witch hunt, I like these holiday themed brawls, even if it might not be the absolute best brawl ever I still like that they keep bringing them back like a tradition, they offer a nice change of pace and it’s fun to revolve around a theme that is not just please buy current pass/mini pass

nothing about it is themed Halloween tho? :eye::lips::eye:
Balloon TAG.
You like it that’s great. But it’s obvious that there could be a much better Halloween brawl. Maybe not tag, something idk Halloween? I must be crazy i know. Because nothing screams Halloween like playing TAG :joy:

Great. More garbage from garbage devs. Hey, maybe this time they’ll wear lipstick, so they’ll look pretty as they f*#k everyone over!
