Devs- why would you lock anything if you want people to play?

‘it’s like restricting our oxygen to breath…’
‘i wouldn’t buy premium for this, premium is another topic lol’
unlock everything for a period of time and see how it goes…
‘maybe clanwars and cc as well’
i’m getting tired of scrap, make a heli for wires and batteries too in heli mode…thanks.

Because they’re not real devs, just people milking a game we all love

Because you should skip the grind and farming and open your wallet.

money money money, and short term money at that. with all due disrespect, the devs are such goobers they cant fathom the concept of developing this cash cow game in a long term maintainabale way

the difference is that targem keeps adding microtransactions and because people are monkeys the game wont die there will just be more microtransactions

Officially, Russians are discouraged from playing video games all day, and their leadership frowns upon this, and encourages developers to create caps and limits, and to avoid known purposefully addictive features.

In short, the premise of your question may be making an incorrect assumption, and even though this isn’t technically a Russian game, Russian culture may have an influence on this.

I’m not sure what our official policies are on this. “Be sure and bury your bodies, and what we don’t know won’t hurt us,” I presume. I think that’s we roll here, but I don’t want to get all political.

Just saying, it’s probably a Russian thing. Go touch grass?

All things in moderation.

EDIT: I know, I know. I’ve been marathoning this game lately myself.

Kind of off-topic, but I noticed recently that when I have a week with more time than normal to play Crossout, I eventually start enjoying playing less.

Playing too little is also frustrating in a different way, but for me there is definitely such a thing as too much Crossout.

Maybe the devs are just trying to discourage us from grinding too hard and burning out? (I am not seriously proposing this)

no the game is just made in such a way that it stops being fun relatively quickly. when you look at other games you realise there is nothing to do in crossout.
im sure its not a case of the devs caring about the players (whether for wellbeing or just extra profit) in any case

For me, I enjoy that the matches are short and arcade-like. But that does make extended play sessions repetitive.

Would be nice to have a bigger and longer all-out-war PVP mode, but we don’t really have the playerbase for that.

Compared to other games I own, I would rather be playing Crossout. But it could definitely be improved to make longer sessions more fun.

I don’t really care much though, because I’m an adult with responsibilities and can’t devote huge amounts of time to it. As it is, I already spend too much time playing.

i also like to play relaxed short matches sometimes but it gets boring quick when its the only option in the whole game
