Does this game have any mechanics to detect & block cheating? Because I’m seeing people with symbols in their names, flying round in tiny little boxes with a cannon on the bottom & rotors on the top pin point taking out players from distance. You can hit them because they’re too high. I’m in a pretty fast vehicle with machine guns, 2 either side on the front, 2 either side on the back. And these people with pin point accuracy as I’m full speed ducking & diving, losing my guns before any else.
I’ve reported some players stating the offence, one in particular who kept on spawning behind our spawn point at the start of a normal scrap battle. But some players won’t let you report, why?
Its worse then you think so far ive played for a long time. And the game seems be in compleet disrepair. Also the event flamer raiders has qeustionbale people on the leaderboard. basicialy from lowerst powerscore to highest you got people in the game who should be banned. 2022 was last banwave that happend since then it has become a lawless town. the game is cruel for new players so keeping them in crossout eco system is almost impossible. But they keep running ad’s on youtube. While not fixing the bigger issues with the game. so far we did get a new TOS but i find it harder to enjoy crossout. A lot of people i fight against these days where i need qeustion if he is real or not. And i got very detailed eyes. i even got screenshots of a guy shooting zigzags out of his scorpion guns which is humanly impossible.* p.s this guy didnt get rammed or pushed around. his aim jumped a few mili seconds during aiming at me during a explosion of a rear fuel barrel bumper (that his teammate exploded the moment he shot at me). its very intressting to see a sudden mili second change of target in those screenshots. But yeah like you said there are a lot of fake people in crossout currently sadly. if the remainder community wassent here i might have left.
Also a lot of ather things i have noticed is that serten things get piority hit and yes guns is 1 of them but also explosives seem attract abnormal aim.
Also ive never seen so many guys with god like aim there even guys always hitting guns beyond there scope range of weaponry they use.
when crossout had some balance was before 2.0 happend and we had different class ingame.
Also people saying its just enhanched aim from controller are nosebleed talking excuse. Because that aim system was never good like currently is happening.
I have seen guys in patrol mode who systematicly vibrate there crosshairs in a pattern accros somebody there build hitting al the important bits like something is reading the enemy build for them and its same what happens in heli mode.
Also gun animations that dont make sense with serten players / skill level.
Then extra a lot of guys who have robotic movement and play like a turret.
Simple said most things are abnormal in XO like you said.
Yeah, I used to play this on the original PS1 back in day, but 2 of my sons play this on steam & they begged me to play with them & I do find it fun, but I’m also a software/hardware engineer. I built the Valve Anti-Cheat back in the day, so I know all about cheating. I spot the signs now & again in games, be it WoW, Eve Online, World of Tanks, War Thunder, you name it, there’s always cheaters. But you’d be very unlucky to come up against cheaters game after game. Until I played this & it’s just relentless.
I’m currently blasting away on At Gunpoint after the ships have finished & I like it, it’s different. But I’m spawning in games & instantly getting my weapons taken out by players from across the map. And I actually considered buying some of the currency just to try & catch up with my son’s who have way better stuff without having to spend a penny, but they do for the skins & so forth. But I’ve really no interest in spending any money on a game that allows cheating on this scale, I mean it’s so bold & in your face like they don’t even care.
Its a shame, because I like the game, its the type of game for me. I’d even make them an anti-cheat software if they reached out to me. I’d even help them incorporate the game using hesh files to prevent any software interacting with the game files that do not belong & will screen shot & relevant data like IP, system hardware IDs to the devs to get those accounts banned for trying to cheat. I did send them an email & support ticket prior to posting on here & no reply from either so, I think my minds made up on their intentions with this game.
Such a shame though.
One thing that really infuriates me, are players in low power score vehicles with a high end weapon seal clubbing… I think a minimum power score should be imposed for using such weapons if you ask me, it’s just common sense.
