Idk how you did that but can you do that for all posts for everyone but only in the stuff that matters please thats amazing this could save us all with popular votes with whats cool and important to us. Great job. Hopefully others can do this aswell?
I get the point of XO being a harsh environement and all, but its just an hologram(with a holiday background as intent), not the end of the world.
Should we also remove pink and too glossy nice looking paints, christmas decor, gift wraps paints, as well just because it doesnt make sense lore wise? Like if the background lore actually had any impact on the game and its playerbase in the first place lol (it does but so little) and these are just online game items, not lore.
Now before I say anything, everything anyone says here, including me, is just personal preference. No one is right or wrong, we are just explaining our point of view and what we like/dislike in the game personally.
Yes, they should. (Although not really paints, as it’s not the same. Paints, whatever they are, are a thing and can have seriousness, while oversized bunny ears, not really).
Well, everything in a game becomes a part of it. The general atmosphere. In that way, it’s part of the ongoing lore.
- It’s like if we put a Buggs Bunny costume in a Lord of the Rings game. Sure, it can be just an item, but it feels out of place.
I get your point but it’s an item for a holiday more than anything and yes christmas is more prevalent for most people but they didnt put christmas items on temporary time frames like they did with this. Like I doubt the people in crossout would celebrate christmas as much as we do ingame yet we do have them all year around.
You can not like the hologram just like I can not like the horn that laughs at people but that doesnt deserve them not existing permanently solely because of that.
Also not all items like stickers and such necessarly exist in the lore but are mainly there for us the players. They don’t all fit in the lore.
Just take everything about the ravens with medieval builds like in the current mayhem, do you really think people in the lore would run these viably? I highly doubt it.
Yes the ears can have that more chidlish appearance than christmas decorations, but personally sometimes I like running girly looking builds and the ears fitted well with that theme, so it’s not just “chidlish”, it can have other uses.
