DPS and rush is too strong

Yep, except its not constrained to limited angle weapons, this is for every build in the game that can’t defend itself from a super aggressive player. For most builds if you dont have a team to hide behind you die to aggressive builds unless you are several times better at driving than the other guy.

I get this but I don’t always play the same way even in similar builds. Like I won’t hound the same player often, I just go for the next available shot instead. If I have someone that is following my presence in the match I try to lead them into my team if I’m alone and have a team left. I still have to drive backwards though and I have to worry if they might reverse that lead and push me into their team though. No playstyle always works tough.

You’re right it doesn’t have to be just exclusive to limited angle cannons but it’s a really understandable example so someone doesn’t say drive forward and aim behind you. Medium, medium long and long distance brawling should be able to happen though currently it doesn’t happen that often.

I can tell you’ve never fought a good dual auger player back when they were good. EVERY build will be forced into CQC if an enemy wants to force CQC unless it has full reverse speed. I beat wheeled shotguns most of the time as long as they didnt wedge/pin

Being forced into CQC doesnt make the build a CQC build…much like shooting a SG build at range doesnt make your opponent a long range shotgun build. Then u further muddy the waters by siting reverse speed…when u were using a full reverse speed build. Lol.

I have seen incredible meatgrinder play…but only on small builds like the one you used. Which, coincidently, you played properly as a range build and only fought close when a non-strafing, limited foring angle, reload build charged you.

Anyway, I love the idea of grinders and truly want them to be CW worthy. I will start a topic to make my suggestions.

Augers used to be insanely good… That’s why I got 4 before I got my 1st tracks.

I had a build with two very far forward the rest of the build with the other two centered & rearward. I could catch people in between those two forward ones & spin, grinding the crap out of them while eating them alive with shotguns.

Those days are over, though. Good luck catching anything with augers, now. Too slow.

just wish you could have traction on top of enemy or friendly player builds instead of getting stuck, and coming into contact with an enemy should not do weird stuff to your build, many times even on a hover if I start to get pushed into one direction, no part of the build getting caught up in the enemy, I should realistically be able to just turn a little, on wheeled builds maybe accelerate a little, and slip off of the enemy, but for some reason you become completely immobile while being pushed in a single direction

To have traction over others you have to be over 20 tons yourself

I didn’t say being forced into CQC makes the build a CQC build, u are the 1 muddying the waters. I was using that as a point to explain how easily targem can balance playstyles with simple part tweaks. Then you come along being all shame on thee for defending close quarters use of tsunamis and meatgrinders.

That wasnt my proudest or only CQC fight using an auger tsunami either, its the only one left after I lost all those clips on my old laptop.
