It’s a well known and used school of thought here in crossout…and… it’s not for me.
It sucks, completely BS, worthless junk, i’m not ranting nor i’m frustrated with this, just wasting my time in a lesson i learned around years ago.
So, they nerfed the passive melee parts damage.
How to counter act that?
So i went back to the all durability to weight ratio " thing" cause i noticed some ram parts have a bigger damage percentage than others…and yes, they produce bigger numbers than what i normally use…once, twice at most, if they didn’t fall off after the first contact.
I think i’ll stay with i already have mounted, they produce smaller numbers but i can do those smaller much more often.
I don’t worry much about getting the most optimal weapon/armor combo when working with melee cars. I build what looks cool (to me). Incisors versus flails? I use whichever “looks right” for a particular build’s profile.
Btw, this cranky dude gets his kicks chasing the kids around in Bedlam, but he’s chewed up a number of bots in pve too. Try to run away and he’ll harpoon ya and drag you into his maw. Sometimes generating laughs beats durability.

I managed to drag it through many nerfs to nowadays, made many versions, improvement over improvement, it’s by far the build i’m working on the longest, it seems i woke up with the slaughter event.
That event is a reference for me.
And this build is kinda of a best of of all the builds i did Light, Medium and Heavy in one between the slaughter event and now.
