Just like the ones in Robocraft.
Would it be a good addition to the game? we already have scifi shields but not directional shield parts apart from that one cab.

… in all seriousness though idk. i mean i was thinking about shields in the game before but i wouldnt want them being like the nova cabin. absorbing shots and then being able to spam the shield and not taking any damage from lets say cannons. i have a barrier 9 upgraded and idk if id want more… if it were useful or made in a certain way to not be OP then yeah i would.
idk much about the electroshields though that you mentioned… are they like… building parts?

This is crossout not star trek
I thought the same as you for a long time,
Thinking this was a Mad Max Wasteland style game.
But then i accepted the nonsensical Crossout lore and reality, and faced my preconceptions.
The story of crossout is almost everyone died of a virus, keep in mind they dont exist in the real world.
And then everyone went selfish and killed each other for scraps, but oh also, we have energy shields and particle guns and hitscan lasers and plasma cannons and stuff.
So in general, its a post apocalyptic game with alot of scifi elements.
currently, it’s not scify that’s worrying me, i still have hiccups while playing, first game yesterday i just ended up jumping into the void i was not near one ( hole in the ground) a fraction of a second before that.
I don’t know what they did, but it’s just not only the max speed they changed, but acceleration also.
This game is getting worse ( not as fun ).
that’s going beyond breaks of suspense of believe.
I’m playing a lot less these last three weeks.
