I was banned from chat for 3 days by big buff daddy? over discussing issue with email related to OUTLOOK Microsoft changed its security so logged into email at all times never asking for password when use the outlook ap.
removing account from computer does NOT close the account anyone can reset the account and access email account without ever entering password.
THIS IS COMPROMISING SECURITY FOR CROSSCUT because now 3rd parties can access a players email that crosscut is linked too. get codes from email that allows them to access account on forum and game itself. because then only need to get access to one password and that the game side password but the 2FA rendered meaningless because can access email account without having to prove identity with password.
I was trying to get people in game to take note of this that their email is NOT secure if use outlook and when buff said to stop talking about it even though the issue was in fact game related he accused me of making game related after fact. I was in process trying to get people to understand how account is compromised but to do that they needed to understand how email account itself is compromised allowing third party actors to gain access to crossout account. because one of the security barriers is NO LONGER SECURE.(outlook)
need the ban lifted because this was legit game related conversation and was in process of trying to build up so they could see correlation of how game is compromised if email account itself is compromised due to the company changing how it handles email security.
I tried to find the appeal system but link was given is to only LOCKED discussions about rules not sure where suppose to submit this too because this is NOT just about lifting chat ban but a MAJOR SECURITY BREACH OF GAME ACCOUNTS THAT USE OUTLOOK MIRCROSOFT ACCOUNTS. AS THE ACCOUNT EMAIL. where email side NO LONGER SECURE.
due to disability barriers changing email accounts not option because unable to access other email services. 98% of internet is NOT disability accessible so switching for us is NOT option. and the access for us is getting worse day by day in name of security that fails to keep things secure like this new way of doing security that microsoft implemented with outlook email services. pass key for example is barrier for disabled because its NOT universal and is limited to specific platforms so wind up having to have whole bunch of keys which cost money that people with disabilities doesn’t have in first place.

trying to find correct way to apeal but not that straight forward send post that has lot locked content not really all that clear about how to do appeals.
the issue with email problem does in fact need to be taken up with the devs and moderators because everyone using OUTLOOK as their email tied to crossout is compromised by this problem. the 2FA etc doesn’t work if anyone in family has physical access to divice used to play crossout, to get 2fa code to access forum , make purchases, mess with account like deleting it. so on.
Microsoft has been removing ability to report issues to them because they don’t want to deal with customers having problems with their products. this in turn compromises devs security to game. because devs relying on their party service to handle its security. AKA third party email accounts. AND was also trying to explain that people with disabilities are getting locked out by this conduct by industry where there no clear usable remedy to fix these security issues when our way of functioning to access is IGNORED and NOT incorporated into way things done to access services like crossout and email related to crossout account. this is just as valid of place to put this as any other platform devs prefer I can’t use discord or facebook etc due to barriers to access and security both. because when there security problem due to communication disability issues to access I am NOT able to get problems resolved when they occur after the fact. because I can’t just pick up phone and call customer support and they refuse to communicate by email aka outlook for me. for example. so no way to get stuff resolved by traditional means that YOU TAKE FOR GRANTED AS ABLE BODIED. who forced MONO BODIED CULTURE WAY OF DOING THINGS. aka 1 way of doing something if can’t do it that way then your excluded from goods and services. I DO spend money on crossout. getting crowns and packs. especially ones with the 4000 coins.
Just turn off the general in-game chat, it’s a pile of cancer. Don’t bother with it

Please note that users are responsible for protecting their account.
You are expected to secure your devices, email account, login credentials, and to use 2FA appropriately.
We encourage you to create one Windows account per user if you are using a shared computer.
Furthermore, instead of using 2FA via email, you can configure the code to be sent via SMS or even use the Gaijin Pass app. A password cannot be changed without these codes.
If you still want to appeal, please follow this procedure Game rule violations & Appeals against a penalty and contact @HornOchse via private message. We will not discuss the penalty here, and we invite you to do the same.
(You mention passkeys, but we do not currently support them. And no, it doesn’t cost anything. You can obtain passkeys via WebAuthn and rely on Windows’ built-in management. You don’t need to have a physical security key with Fido.)
