Hear me out…
The “lore” of this game is largely lost in the chaos of all the various play modes that the game has - with only one tiny area almost no one plays having anything to do with the storyline.
What if there were brawls where you could only use parts from ONE faction, and fought against people using parts from other factions. So, you’d have a team of rigs built exclusively with Engineer parts going up against a team with rigs having only Firestarter parts.
Give outsized rewards since it’d take a good bit of effort to even participate.
A side bonus to this would be that it would encourage each faction to be more fully “fleshed out” with a full compliment of parts…
