Favorite movement parts

what is your favorite movement part to use in the entire game?

i personally use bigfoots alot because of the durability. alot of other wheels just seem so weak in comparison.
for example rare wheels, despite having a decent amount of hp they feel so frail, like wet cardboard.

other movement parts i have used in the past are ml-200s which are solid and bigrams which are ok to.
another of my favorite are sleipnirs but they have a bit of a turning angle on them making the brakes key to using them effectively.

i want to try titan wheels but the size of them just feels clunky to use and makes them a big target.

so what are your favorites and why?

Probably MVP Torps but the prices of therms, i guess I’m not gonna get any.
The second I post an offer someone instantly ups by a penny.

I use omni’s the most but they aren’t that good.

I like Goliath monsters, but can’t afford that many.
Meat Grinders (the Augers) fun too.
For wheels I like Titans for heavy builds or Uwabakis for speed, sometimes I’ll use Hermits or Widgets but not very often
I know people hate helis (for some reason), but I love my Petrel for single-rotor builds and Maples for my heavy quadcopters (8k dura). Impellers are good too.

If I had to choose one, I think I’d go with Meat Grinders. They’re good for a lot of things, high tonnage, damage underneath, cam steering (people hate that too for some reason), and they look so cool

Overall, if I had to choose just one movement part for all of my builds, it’d be hermits. They’ve always been considered “op” for a wheel, have good damage resistance, and can carry alot of weight.

Same, i was just saying I really want Goliaths, but the prices… If only we could craft everything

2500 - 2600 per track is ridiculous… yeah its a pack only item but jesus the prices for these are stupid.

Plus i would wanna fuse the parts… :skull:

5000 - 5200 coins per fusion if you get an event that allows you to fuse two together… plus tax.
7500 - 7800 if you need 3 to fuse.
isnt crossout fun!?

Forward facing wheels. Not only are they in general so easy to build around/with, they were for a while the only wheel that you could actually drive with, and even after throwing as much shit at a wall to see what sticks after they screwed wheels over with supercharged, speed caps, grip and whatnot changes, forward facing wheels are still really good to drive, and any car where they are added on top of normal wheels just handles way better

So Claw, Outcast, Sabbath.

I have 8 outcasts, but the turning is soooo weird lol
Maybe I should mix with regular wheels too?
But outcast definitely has a great perk,

I find that the outcast specifically suffers from quality crossout coding tm, where it really acts really good or all weird depending on the placement of it and other wheels

Like I have 1 build with 4 outcast 4 sabbath, with the outcasts at the front, 2 facing forward 2 back, and then at the back the 4 sabbaths are facing backwards but placed one after the other, and while all movement parts are attached it works really good, but if I loose all sabbaths and am just left with both outcasts, for some weird reason my steering goes away, I can move in a straight line and only turn after a hard break, or sorta semi-strife in a buggy manner. Which is weird because on a normal 4 outcasts only car if you have 2 facing forward 2 backward it handles normally.

Another quirk about the outcasts I noticed is that if you place two right next to each other they also handle strange, one of them needs to be a bit more forward than the other, usually the inner one. My most well handling build has 1 uwabaki in the middle, then two outcasts facing in both directions, and then two more but not right next to each other but starting around where the first outcasts wheel ends, but also on the inner side than the outer. ABSOLUTION on the pc exhibition if I remembered to upload it (not my build altered soem guys build a little), absolute cabin, dooms, outcasts, handles pretty nice and shows one of the good ways to mount the wheels for handling

Basically if a build handles weird with them, try placing them a bit different, and switching how many are facing forward/backward and at what length they are of each other

I use all the movement parts, and switch it up whenever I get bored.

But wheels are what I always come back to, and what I feel most comfortable with. I’ve probably been using buggy wheels more than any other type, because their perk works with a bunch of other items, I like that their scale is more realistic than most epic wheels, and I also like that very few other people use them, so my builds look more unique. Also, they’re lightweight and have low power drain, so they’re very fast.

Small tracks were my favorite for awhile, i fused some but now I have to craft more to make a functional build.
Only thing i dislike is they don’t really give much armor. But i guess the speed adds up for that

Bigfoot wheels

I have 5 Fused, i need a few more.
Shame hotred engine is the best engine for wheels.
Reverse speed is needed…

what about the oyabun? gives a boost to reverse speed to for when ya bump into something.

yeah but that’s if your going fast, light cabs yes definitely. But anything slower is rough.
I just find wheels weird. I think they did something to wheels awhile ago I missed and i just can’t use them.
I don’t know exactly what feels different either. Maybe Traction? Turning idk

the one thing i know is wheels have god awful reverse speeds. even if your running the oyabun its not reliable to go backwards and coming to a complete stop is incredibly punishing. one thing i come across often is how much wheels bounce off things like i just hit a spring board from sonic the hedgehog in one of the forest levels. the bounce some wheels have is absolutely absurd and i have been flipped constantly using bigfoots. whether its just an ally land mine, ally kapkan or literally any tiny bump in the ground, it flips my vehicle completely over like i just hit flubber. sometimes even going as far as to launch me into the air when doing so.
anytime i used meat grinders or small tracks i always flip over to. sometimes when i turn they turn in the opposite direction im trying to turn to…
i just have alot of issues with most wheels even when bigfoots are my most used out of them all.
