Fin Whale and Jackie hate

If i’m not mistaken, you don’t like bricks, right?
What have you done to counter bricks?

Under what category of player do you fall in?
you use a build from exhibition
you are always making new builds
you spend most of the times working in a few builds

Just because a thing is META it doesn’t mean it’s unstoppable or you can’t put on the field something that will offer resistance with good results, it only means it’s META because underlines the inaptitude of the rest of the builds and exploits those fragilities, as soon the rest caught up the META stops being META cause they cease to be as productive.
But what i just said is just the conclusion, the way to get there, the journey, it’s where complexity, intricate, and interest resides
And you can do this from several perspectives.
It’s trial and error, a layer more to the mix

thats not how it works when the game is improperly balanced. the rest of the non-meta builds dont catch up, thats why the op builds are the meta

anyway ive played a few games which renews my right to spam the forum because the only thing that constantly succeeds in any team is a brick build, and the teams are all mostly what looks like lobotomized players because of the excellent matchmaker

in the same weight category it’s possible. Let’s say.
you know you have a build that’s good against other type of build, but bets are off if you go against the same type of build your build is good against being the other build heavier than you, cause in reality, you no longer have weight advantage, very rarely you will beat a heavier build than yours and when you beat 1 vs 1 there will be other factors, like e.g.

I beat a heavier cab than mine a couple of days ago, i think it was a melee build with a skinner, i won because 2 major factors:

  1. My build it’s melee resistant
  2. PS. A trucker vs FAV (fused ) stats are almost the same

Lately i’m taking advantage of self damage if i see the other build it’s “softer” than mine.

I’m not saying it’s good against all sorts of META, i’m saying regardless of many things, if you focus your build to fight a specific type of build you will be better against that thing and maybe an additional other thing.
I can say i was good against dogs as an additional thing, not anymore, now it’s melee i’m good against as the additional thing and despite of the Buffs, the main attraction, for what i build for i can say, in most cases, all i ear…
Nothing but the rain

then youll be a specialized build that is useless against everything else. at least when it comes to targeting meta builds

In reality you end up being good against 1 or 2 things more.
But what’s the option there? Being a jack of all trades?
you end up being the middle of the road for everything

It’s a choice i did mine some time ago and i do not regret.

You should try someday, you will not be legally bonded to that

Forget the META builds

What META build you hate the most? Build for it, you will be good hunting down that META build regardless of many things, moving parts and so on.
Just find a recipe that works, refine it to perfection, and know your limits.

Do you know when i saw i was safe in that encounter with the trucker build?
when he harpoon me and he couldn’t drag me

Do you know when i knew i could go for him?
When he gave up on me

Honestly these parts are just straight up pay2win

Playing higher PS it becomes really apparent, because even on a maximum speed invested build, I can not catch up/outrun any players running these things, especially the Jackie I am guessing, because that’s the only reason I can see that most builds can do what my supposed maximum speed and/or power builds can’t. Any mobile, agile build is instantly dwarfed by builds using this thing, or made to be of similar performance than non-speed invested medium builds that can put themselves onto same performance with the Jackie as opposed to light builds without one.

You can never catch up to most players while they can catch up to you in no time. You can never run away from most players while most players can instantly close in the distance. It gets way too tiring, you can’t play many builds properly just because you lack the specific pay2win part that instantly makes all builds just better than any builds without it. Omamori was one thing, but at the end of the day it just made your guns more harder to shoot off, but having better speed and mobility and acceleration with the jackie is just buffing up so many parameters at once. It’s like a roided up omamori basically in terms of balance

pay money or lose, the best kind of gameplay

Jackie does not allow you to go faster than 120 kmh. I don’t need Jackie to hit 120 kmh.
So your fast builds aren’t really that fast if you aren’t able to catch up with anyone.
Your problem isn’t Jackie’s speed boost.

Also, high PS has always been about the most expensive parts, and Jackie isn’t even close to being the most expensive part.
We’re talking about a part that cost a couple dollars out of a cheap BP. A bottle of pop costs more. Is that P2W? Really?
And what’s stopping any F2P player from grinding one out for free? It would probably take me just a few weeks to grind one, which isn’t really a big deal, if the module is anywhere close to as powerful as you claim.
