I just saw a bot aircraft in Patrol!
Also seems like bot AI is slightly better overall, but that might be my imagination.

They came out about 2 weeks ago. Theyâre actually fun to go after, and some look pretty cool, like the X-wing-shaped one. They seem to take a while to get off the ground and donât fly very fast. If Iâm using a copter with rockets, I target them exclusively. I gotta see if I can set up a custom battle populated by flying bots on the opposing team.

Iâve been seeing them in my garage for a while, but didnât seem like they could actually take off. They just seemed to float around at ground level.
Do they have bot mechs yet?
Semi-related, how do people feel about mechs being allowed in this BfU? Iâm liking it, although Iâm having more luck with normal ground builds.

they did fly at first then struggle to fly later on in garage lol
It works (for the most part). I was able to create a custom battle using âbrawls with survivors > bedlamâ. For âb lueprintsâ I selected âenable armored aircraftâ, and unselected âenable armored carsâ. All the bots used assorted rotor builds.
The only problem is that sometimes, theyâll actually fly up right as the battle starts (as would be expected), but often, they hover along the ground, or take a minute or two before they become airborne. Itâs a start; hopefully theyâll eventually make flying bots always fly.
UPDATE: It seems like their ability to lift off immediately is based on the map you use (probably terrain-related). For instance, they never seem to lift off on Highland Cathedral or Abandoned Town, but have no problems doing so on Tank Range, Fortress and El Diablo Gorge. And when theyâre in the air, they arenât pushovers either! 
play Patrol, if that heli bot focuses on you,your dead.
This is why Iâm glad I can against play bot helis in CustomâŚI will find out which ones are best left alone!
