Founders and Syndicate workbenches

Forgive me if this is old news, but I just realized that the Founders and Syndicate Battlepass items are all craftable now.
Is this just for people that completed those BPs, or do newer players also have access to them?

I’m wondering now if they will eventually add the other factions too?

All I got were 4 blockchain workpieces and 4 camber ST workpieces, no perma recipes for me :sob:

as far as i know this is only for people who bought and completed the battlepasses. i have both the founders and syndicate unlocked and i unlocked them both by buying the passes for them. the only way these are available to people who didnt get the battlepasses is through temporary blueprints.

the other factions blueprints wont be added in and i feel that this is a huge waste. why bother making an entire faction if you cant even use them or the only time you can use them is through events? its so pointless.

They are just as well making founder items craftable for everyone, I can craft an unlimited amount of annihilators/omniboxes not to mention that founders was the very first main bp that is terribly dated and these items are pretty worthless anyways but the devs are way to cheap and headstrong to throw the player base has much as a bone every once in a while, I got no hope for the future of this game

This game needs more free stuff, I think after a BP as been out for more than a few years it should automatically be craftable for everyone and founders/syndicate definitely meets that criteria.

Have they confirmed this, or even mentioned that these two workbenches were added? Seems weird to me they would add these and also commit to not ever adding the others.
I suspected/assumed that they would eventually add more, maybe after revisiting those factions.

Were you playing the game when those BPs originally ran? And if so, did you buy them?

Does that mean you don’t have the Syndicate workbench?

Did anyone see them mentioning this in the patchnotes? It feels like it should have been a bigger deal, considering how much we’ve complained about not being able to craft old BP items.

as far as ive read the patch notes they havent mentioned anything about adding it. the only way to get it in my knowledge is buying the battlepass that was accessible at that time.

i believe after the syndicate faction was added and the blueprints stuck they said they wont be releasing anymore permanent blueprints. i know they did say this before when the founders came out but i cant remember if it was in the patch notes or not. youd need to go digging to find out.
they wont release anymore permanent blueprints, i dont know why but this is just ridiculous to me.
i wish they would honestly. whats the point in releasing factions if they wont add any blueprints to it? im betting the ravagers will be like the hyperborea faction and only be available during events. disappointing to.

i do vagely remember them saying that after they made the bastion a permanent blueprint that they wont be releasing anymore permanent blueprints… i believe this was around the time the founders came out? idk its been so long.

I often wonder if some of our confusion about the game is a result of bad translations of things the devs have said.
I’m not going to give up hope about the other factions items being added eventually. After all, we weren’t expecting either of these two factions to get added, and they were.

No I don’t have syndicate. I took a 2 year break right after I finished return of the founders

added in terms of what? the blueprints? readding them so anyone can unlock them?
i want to believe that they will add some blueprints to the game eventually but seeing as how their track record has been to add everything temporary i doubt itll happen. they DID add temporary blueprints for said weapons of the founders with a discounted cost… sort of. they also did the same with the syndicate faction to. but still, i dont believe they will add the ravager faction in as a permanent faction. instead im betting they will only add it in as a temporary thing and itll only be available in events.
i just want more permanent blueprints and factions in the game and for them to improve on the things they already have in the game rather then just shelling out all these battlepasses and mini battlepasses.

Back when BPs were first introduced, many people were upset that the blueprints disappeared.
This was something that was talked about a lot.
And now, the blueprints from two BP factions appear to have been added permanently. This was not expected.

So since this did this, it isn’t unrealistic to think that eventually they will do the same for the other BP factions. Probably not tomorrow, but quite possible down the road.

Why wouldn’t they, since they did for these two factions?

They still keep the sales motivating factor, since you needed to buy it the first time to get it permanently.

these two factions were already permanent if you got the battlepasses associated with them. i dont recall them adding it in in any patch notes or anything. this could just be temporary to, you never know.

if this was meant to be readded into the game dont you think they wouldve announced it in the patch notes or a blog or something to indicate it was now available? as far as i know i havent seen anything about it.

When did this happen?
Has this been the case for a long time and I just noticed?

Yes! My clan leader can craft all the items, and I can craft none. He also has workpieces for items he can craft without a workpiece while I have none.

it happened when the founders released. the blueprints were permanent when you bought the battlepass. whatever blueprints you unlocked you kept. founders and syndicate did this, if you unlocked the blueprints in the battlepass then you kept these blueprints forever.

this had always been the case for the founders and the syndicate factions.

these blueprints were given out as temporary blueprints in some battlepasses i believe. once you use one its gone for good. some items in there even give you a discount for making them… in a way. i got a ton of these blueprints and it was how i was able to make 2 cyclones. the funny thing about the temporary blueprints you get in your inventory is they make the item instantly and you dont need to wait the time limit.
they are doing an iris blueprint for the dronepocalypse as well. its only one but yeah. i think its temporary though.

Wow, I am a space cadet.

I had never noticed that the blueprints were still available. I thought I was only seeing them because I had workpieces for a bunch of those parts.

Oops!

I could have sworn I remember people complaining about not being able to craft those parts after the BP ended.

yeah i remember that to. but you had to get the battlepass for the blueprints to be available permanently. they released temporary blueprints for those that missed it so they could make a few parts they missed. the problem with this is after the syndicate faction came out they said they wont be making blueprints permanent anymore and they will only be available through events. this is what really screwed us because without us being able to make these items the prices of these limited items become to high. on top of this i bet it was a ploy to charge us for additional mini battlepass content. add them in so people get them and either sell them to resupply the market or use them to get a fused legendary. this is just so scummy.

You’re not wrong, but I don’t see it as that scummy.
Obviously the temporary aspect is to make BPs more valuable and seem like a better bargain for those that buy them. But that has a side effect of inflating the prices too much, although in most cases not nearly as bad as the old model of pack-only items.
So adding those restricted items to mini-BPs helps keep market prices more reasonable (which is good for players), and also helps add value to those mini-passes.
Just seems like normal business practices to me, and not particularly scummy compared to a lot of capitalism.

For people like me, who only buy the main BPs, we don’t feel unduly pressured to buy the mini-passes. For players who didn’t buy the main BPs, they now have the option of catching up by purchasing the mini-BP, or they can just take advantage of the lower market prices due to increased supply, and just grind out the parts they want to buy.

Thanks to workpieces, people like me didn’t even notice the permanent blueprints of those two factions, since we were already able to craft those items, and at reduced cost. While it’s nice that those blueprints were permanent for those that bought them, most of us weren’t taking advantage of that.

Having said that, if I were advising the devs I would tell them to make the other factions’ blueprints permanent after enough time has passed and after they’ve added newer factions.

I still can’t believe that I never noticed those blueprints were still available without workpieces. We get so many workpieces that I didn’t even think to look.

umm… just add the blueprints and it would be reasonable…?
the king and kapkan should be brought into the game to and be able to be made. pack only items are bullcrap and i rarely see kapkans or kings dip below 2k each. i wish they would drop down in price more though. when a fusion event comes around these items go way up in price to.

and i thought i was oblivious
not saying that to insult you lol just saying it cause your silly!

i mean… i can understand that. its just… the problem is… theres factions now that arent usable.
first:
founders and syndicate: these factions arent usable if you didnt buy the battlepasses for these. on top of this if you go into the “factions” tab in the crafting menu itll say “insert faction name here does not accept survivors into its ranks. access to their parts opens up during special events in the…” (wasteland i assume?)

the hyperborea faction doesnt have any blueprints at all and the only way to get these items is from events or mini battlepasses. its just… this isnt how i imagined factions to start being now.

ravagers might be the same thing after the season concludes to. this is just disappointing to me.
