This gun is pretty awesome, especially when you get used to the bullet trajectory (it’s kind of like an elongated, more accurate phoenix, it does have some drop to take into account when trying to hit far-away targets and the bolts themselves are not that fast, struggling from the sluggish projectile speed problem many weapons suffer from) and it has the same universal problem as Varuns, where if you, especially on hovers, go over bumps and get wobbled around, your gun wobbles with the build for a bit until the aim readjust, sending your bolts into the air or into the ground, though it’s a bit more noticeable with Fukibari as the aim gets “locked” as it fires, so one bolt can hit the enemy, one the ground and one fly straight up into the air if you accidentally go over a big bump on the map. They are also not as accurate as they let on and appear, it’s pretty easy to not land all three shots even at very close range, but it’s nothing you can’t get around with some getting used to the trajectory and speed of the shots.
But these things are very nice and anti-brick, or I should say anti-gun guns. Usual w warrior ram builds like dual cannons, reapermillers and such get stripped right off, it’s very satisfying, it feels like the perfect gun against such builds. And even outside those, it’s pretty good at gun stripping, especially on single gun builds like Morta, Avalanche, Kaiju, Thyrsus and so on.
I do feel like it’s pretty balanced as well, while they strip guns very well, they do struggle a little against getting kills with shooting at the cabin, but it’s doable. And you really need to spam these rather than just a single volley ruining an enemy’s day completely, and they are not too accurate long-range and do struggle against armoring and buried guns.
But the biggest satisfaction is how good they are at countering if you get facehugged or rammed, on a hover build 90% of the time the enemy strategy is to ram right into you and destroy you by driving forward and firing, but get a few shots of these in in-between being pushed around and their guns are gone. Very anti-meta so sadly once these become ore common I suspect fully that there will be lots of crying about them and a possible nerf because they’re countering little timmy’s usually uncounterable build and they can’t just ram blindly with guaranteed victory
Also I’ve only experimented on a dual Fukibari build rather than all 3 Fukibaris so there’s that as well to take into consideration, but with hadron+argument to speed up the reload into pretty fast, I imagine it’s pretty close to a three fukibari performance overall as to how fast it strips a gun for the most part
