Funky boot mechanics

So for awhile now, whenever i boot up my crossout.
It stops my steaming music from playing, and when its done loading xo it minimizes the game window.
I can live with it but i just find it strange since none of my other games does that.

never happen to me, i play youtube music,my game loads fine, did u check ur settings in crossout? i know they did away with fullscreen, but maybe make it 'fullscreen windowed ’

My game does weird stuff upon launch too. It takes a while for my PC to load games sometimes, so I will be here, check emails, etc. while it loads. When the launcher is ready, I press play, and then go back to my browser to finish whatever I was doing. If I take too long, the game window will appear out of nowhere and I have to go down to the bottom of the screen to the blue windows bar to click the XO icon, then click my browser icon again to let it finish doing its thing while I do my thing. This is annoying when I am watching a video because it is taking too long and XO is in the way of the video suddenly. then I have to rewind the video and stuff. Not sure how to make it not do that though.

You might be due for a system cleanup, defrag & optimization. Very easy to do. How long have you had your computer?

Since last Christmas, just looked!!

Ok…so then you are probably due for a system cleanup, defrag & optimization!

Okay lol

The_Purple_Snit Doesnt seem to realize Operating Systems have been auto defragmenting and cleaning themselves for years now.

Derp, are you aware that you can turn off scheduled optimizations and cleanups? Most people leave it as a scheduled maintenance procedure, but I opt and cleanup when I want to, when it’s convenient to me. I certainly don’t want disk optimizations running when I’m using my pc for intensive stuff. I don’t even allow updates to be applied until it’s convenient for me. This is nothing new.

BTW, if you use SSDs, it’s reccomended that you NOT optimize them. Windows 10 and on won’t even let you select thumb (usb) drives for optimization; you have to do it manually from a command prompt.

I have no idea what any of this means, I am not a computer person… Imma stay out of this one.
