Garage lighting

Its crap.

I need a custom tv settings for building. I can’t use the same settings for anything else because it looks like a sun damaged picture.

I don’t have bad eyesight and I believe the majority agree that something has to be done.

I have recently started playing again. And as far as I can remember it has not been changed since beta launch.

Does changing the weather in your garage change the lighting in build mode? Never tired, I don’t have an issue with the lighting.

Had not thought of that but it didn’t change the indoor lighting.

The garage as been updated a few times in the past few years, have you tried tinkering with the in game settings if your garage is to bright or dark?

Didn’t reply correctly and now I can’t post my reply because it is too similar blablabla

There’s no video settings on console at all. I think it is meant to create equal visuals for all players so fewer players mess with it to gain an advantage over others.

I could do cheaty stuff with my tv. Removing shadows nearly completely and turn up sharpness so it outlines every shape so it is easier to see movement. But video quality would be like a broken ass crt.

I would love a fov slider and unlocked frame rates with vrr though. 60fps is good but it probably could run with higher frame rate.

For what it’s worth, the garage is why I can quickly and efficiently navigate to the brightness & contrast settings on my PC.

In other words, I have the same issue.

I also have 20/12 vision… far better than “perfect.” Eyesight isn’t the issue.

Fluorescent lights are the traditional choice for garage spaces, but if you live in a cold climate, choose a fluorescent fixture based on the lowest temperature in your garage. Many fluorescent lights don’t work below 50 degrees.
