yep got a set of both now, 2 devourers and 2 rippers.
got the ripper for 39k and the devourer for 26k. yeah i had enough for both.
its going to be a fun time for me, i been having fun running my ripper build and its alot more fun to use these then i thought originally. two of them make a huge difference, add in the jackie and im doing quite a bit of damage to enemies! havent built a double devourer build yet but i will do that soon.
been trying the rippers ability of getting stuck in the ground and having people run into it and that works well. with 2 of them its quite easy to mess people up.

On PC there is like 4 K difference between selling and asking price. My question was why do players quickbuy on selling price?
i dont. i try to get it as cheap as possible. the problem with this is people try to constantly outbid me by a penny and at that point its just a pissing contest on who can offer the highest penny bid and who will buy it first. i rarely buy from the market due to this because its just frustrating. relics take a long time to buy from the market due to their rarity and whatnot. i try to get them as low as i can so i can save a bit of money here and there. i am on ps4 / ps5 and the difference between pc and console is pretty big.
Yea when the relic discount event came along first thing I thought about was that bad advice I gave yea. If you waited a little bit you could of saved big on the rippers lol 
eh its fine. i was able to get them under 40k so its no big issue lol.
Thats good!!! I bought myself a third ripper after prices tanked plus 2 mastodons but had to sacrifice 2 devourers and a Jorm in return. I can see myself selling the mastodons as well one of these days if prices go back up, I find the perk very hard to use.
