Great Update! Thank you Dev team!

I always did the raids and it netted most of my badge gain. If their goal was to get people to join clans, they achieved that, but I do wish they could have atleast kept the solo challenges.

If we made a two-person clan, we could double our weekly badges without changing how we play!

Can we have single person clans? Wouldn’t that mean that nothing would change for true solo players?

This is a cut n paste of the news…

As far as I can tell, it’s impossible to tell if this is an improvement, neutral, or a downgrade for solo players.
It’ll completely depend on what the rewards look like.

  • Weekly challenge will become an activity that is only available to players who are members of a clan or band. The challenges are located in the corresponding tab “Challenges” — “Clan challenges”. The tab with the challenges can also be accessed from the clans window.
  • Now tasks are performed jointly by all members of a clan or a band. This means that the contribution of each member of a clan or a band is taken into account in the progress of those challenges.
  • To receive a reward for completing clan challenges, the following conditions must be met:
    • A clan or a band must fulfill the conditions of a challenge.
    • A clan or a band must have reached the required “Confrontation” league that this challenge belongs to. In the description of each challenge, you can find out which “Confrontation” league is required to unlock it.
    • The player must collect the required amount of “activity” (in the description of each challenge it is indicated how much “activity” is required to receive a reward for its completion). This means that you personally may not complete a specific challenge, but if your clan / band completes it, then in order to receive a reward, you need to collect the amount of “activity” indicated in the challenge. Activity can be earned by dealing damage in any game mode (except “Bedlam” and the “Game center” modes). 1 unit of activity = 1000 units of inflicted damage.

Comment: “activity” eliminates the possibility of unfair play: rewards are given to those survivors who actively play and contribute to the common cause of their clan, and not to those who are just members of clans and don’t do anything.

  • The higher your clan rises in the clan confrontation leaderboard, the more challenges are available to you (and the more “Engineer badges” you can get). A fully completed challenge is taken into account even before reaching the league to which this challenge is attached. That means, that if you have fulfilled the condition for a challenge of a higher league, you will receive a reward for it automatically in case you have time to unlock the corresponding league before the end of the season.

Updated challenges, their respective leagues and rewards

Important: the progress of completing challenges of one type is transferred to subsequent challenges of the same type. For example: if you completed a challenge for 40 victories in missions or brawls, then in the subsequent challenge for 200 victories in missions or brawls, you will already have 40 victories taken into account, and to complete the challenge, you will have to win 160 battles.

No, the clan challenges are locked behind a ‘confrontation rating’ and you can take a look at the official notes yourself and see if it seems feasible with just two people [PC][PS][Xbox] Crossout: Under the sign of the dragon - News - Crossout. There should still be dailies according to this (locked behind a clan/band), but unless they are adding additional weekly clan challenges that are similar in difficulty to the ones we currently have, then it just looks like there’s going to be less badges up for grabs as a solo.

U ppl who cant read or are not interested to read what devs said, just go to reddit and look up what others have to say about upcoming changes. :love_you_gesture:

Am I blind, or does that not list how exactly you move up in leagues to access the other challenges? Sounds like you could open them up just from playing confrontation mode solo, so I don’t see a huge problem for solo players.

You can.

You can Even progress with just playing regular PvP missions.

All of the mission modes (except patrol) count twards confrontation.

You may not like it, Its not my favorite place to go but in fact this broken poop kolor forum is very limited to just a few players, on reddit you got much more players from different platforms and devs also sitting there, I dont get it why you sitting only here in your close small environment. Dont be scared try something new

Monkey deserved some sunshine, after all the schit I’ve been giving him over the last few weeks. I’m glad you like the update, PoshMonkey.

As for me; IDGAF. I am tired of the gun-stripping festival, though, and I think the Chinese crib surveillance theme is a little weird, but I think I like it anyway. It’s different. Cute. A little creepy.

I want “Ling” balloon decor, or a little Ling satellite that follows me around. Maybe a Ling CK for one of the flying drones would be fun. They could do more with this that would be amusing, and should have, IMO.

I’m glad creating a clan is cheaper (200 scrap?), but I can’t settle on a name, nor am I really interested in the social maintenance it might require to have a clan or band. Fortunately, I don’t think any of that is really necessary for access to the weekly challenges. You just need to register a name and fork over 200 in scrap, I think.

Can a person’s alts join their clan? Will they get in trouble for gaming the game that way? Asking for a friend.

Ya, but they all have the same IP address.

Your friend will enjoy that fact that everyone progresses at the same time.

When a reward is unlocked it is unlocked for everyone.

Each band/clan member just need to do the required minimum participation.

I can see why they wanted to boost the popularity of clan wars. Must be pretty bad when I am in the top 10% best clans and don’t even play clan wars with only one person in my clan and that is myself. I was in the top 300 before the new changes came now I’m down to 541.

I think I am gonna finally start accepting recruits. That 9k mode sounds pretty fun.

Hell yeah.

Basically think of it as 4v4 PvP missions for scrap in a more competitive environment.

Also NO bots in this mode. (And the crowd goes wild yaaaaeehhh!)

Everyone always says they don’t want to play with bots. Now they have the chance, so let them prove they really don’t want to not play with bots.

I like playing against bots, easy kills but anyways the new changes give me an excuse to open up my hermit clan. I only made it because I was sick and tired of getting random clan invites everyday. Yea I played In clan wars before and I hate the high ps meta. I played in a top 20 clan for a couple months and just dragged down the clan.
