Hey!
I started Crossout in the test version back in 2016, and I fell in love with the game! I played for a good while after Dawn’s Children faction came out. Then I had a break, and came back to play for a short time a while later…
Then some weeks ago I returned after years, to see damn helicopters in the game??
At least they have a seperate game mode in pvp… I only play classic mode (preferably), so I can technically avoid playing aircrafts…
BUT!!
The daily win quest for scrap metal has aircraft every 2nd damn day?? I need the scrap metal, but I don’t want to be forced to play aircrafts every 2nd day for that… I hate playing aircrafts!
Could devs PLEASE make it at least not every 2nd damn day to play aircrafts for win quest?? Once a week maybe? Or preferably make the win quest for any type of vehicle like when it’s not aircraft specific?
I would go as far as promising that I will buy more packs or passes if this happens lol <(^^,)>
you dont have to do pvp to get those done with aircraft. you can do pve as well. you just have to play the mode that ALLOWS you to play with helis and its not picky. just jump into patrol vs ai and that will count towards that. you dont even have to play as a heli, just play in the mode that allows helis / battlewalker legs. trust me i do them every day and it works.
also if you see this in time ignore the idiots like christina89david as they are bots. idk why but for some stupid reason there are bots in the forums that reply to people and say such useless crap.
Well, today, for a season challenge, I had to equip a helicopter and earn 550 reputation three times.
I did not have to activate the helicopter, and I completed the challenge in Patrol.
Some challenges force you to play against humans while equipped with a helicopter blade or mech legs.
You can still use wheels in combination with the blades or mech legs.
Are you sure about that?
I have yet to encounter one that couldn’t be done in Patrol against bots.
But maybe there are some in the minipass that I haven’t noticed.
They can be confusing because they abandoned the name “Next Step” right after that BP ended.
The challenge would be straight forward if it read, "Win X battles or do X damage or earn X points or destroy X parts or participate in X battles in Next Step while equipped with rotors or mech legs. Instead of reading, " Do this action, see above, in PVP battles with rotors and legs.
So, the PVP part tells you that the challenge cannot be completed in Patrol. They could have stuck with Next Step.
those missions are in the mini pass usually. it requires you to use either helis or battlewalker legs and its pvp or pve i believe. they dont show up too often but they are there.
its both pve or pvp you can do with them, they arent forcing you to use them in pvp.
ah this basically means do the next step pvp missions that include battlewalker legs and helis, you dont actually have to use the legs or helis, just participate in that mode that HAS them.
So yes, this challenge did not require me to use mech legs or rotors, but why would I not? I can still have wheels and just add the rotor. The mass of the rotor? The power score of the rotor? Neither of those bother me.
Also, the main BP challenges include challenges that require you to equip mech legs or rotors. This way, you can complete multiple challenges while you are forced to play Next Step. Like, score 550 points while using rotors or mech legs three times as an example from this week.
Today though all my main BP challenges were already completed but I used a rotor anyway.
Yeah there’s one challenge which pops up every so often, “Destroy 10 parts in…”. It should say “Destroy 10 movement parts in…”. It’s confusing because you don’t know which 10 parts it wants you to destroy.
Yeah, but those aren’t daily challenges, are they?
Those ones always seem to be part of the weekly challenges.
But I also don’t pay close attention to the mini-BP challenges, so maybe some of their daily challenges are like this?
I guess I assumed when you guys said “daily challenges” you meant the normal daily challenges, not the mini-pass ones, because those only matter if you bought the mini-pass.
However, if you read that one closely, you don’t actually need to use rotors or mech legs. You can play a normal ground vehicle, but it needs to be in the next step mode where those parts are allowed.
You aren’t being forced to use them, you just have to be willing to fight against them.
But the reward is also so small that it’s a bit of a stretch to say you are forced to do it.
The only people who might feel that way are those who bought the mini-pass and are intent on grinding it as high as possible.
Even with the main BP challenges, I never feel like I need to do all the daily BP challenges.
