Dude? Really? Was there an announcement I missed (I guess I did)? I have not heard this. Nevermind. I found the announcement, I think.
This is sort of meh, IMO. Disappointing. I’ll have to read that announcement.
“without impacting too many other builds”
With the new changes, you wouldn’t be able to quickly turn your spider build in a fight to force a Scorpion player to shoot your spaced armor instead of your burning cabin, thus saving your life and giving you precious extra seconds to degun/kill him. No, you would permanently just face directly towards him because your camera was faced towards him.
Dude, tone down the condescending attitude a bit.
How are spider players unable to turn their side to an enemy with the new system? Either turn your camera to the side, or use the half turn toggles if you want to shoot sideways while turning your build.
“High level play”?
Give me a break. Do you really think what you are describing is some elite technique?
Also, let’s get real: most high PS spider builds box in their weapons so much that they can’t shoot sideways anyways. Are you just welding your guns to your roof or something?
(Nothing wrong with that, I do it on lots of my dumb art cars, but that’s hardly high level play)
That’s the problem…Hovers.
All i’ve been seeing it’s hovers, they make a lot of noise i’m starting to dislike them.
I mean, hovers has been the top topic in the past few days.
Apart from a single video i don’t know how the update will affect me, so far after a major update i had to made a brand new build from scratch.
I still have some doubts.
like traction of regular wheels
would i be able to drag two, three builds at the same time?
things like that.
But Hovers, you know? Their future is the most pointless discussion for me when talking about movement parts changes, they aren’t in my “road map” of things to have.
I’m more interested in regular wheels, tracks, legs/bigrams.
I run a slow build and probably i’ll go even slower (i’m planning to switch from cheetah to colossus)
I don’t give a rats ass if hovers go at 80 kph or 120kph, the outcome will be the same as it is now.
If i’m their focus i’m in trouble if i manage to get one i destroy them
Hi Guys,
Please stay appropriate, and constructive.
Thanks
Hovers are more tactical than your camping spider or your “W” dog. Most people who play the hovers are already good at the game, if you can’t beat them then you need to get better not whining ‘hovers are toxic’.
You can camp with hovers too.
