How to "win" Radiance?

Funny thing is, this is how the weapon intented to be used in the first place

Which end?

In the end how much scrap do you win?

Good point… I couldn’t armor up my retcher build for this even if I wanted to. Stripped down, it’s right a the limit. I’ll bet Porcs aren’ t there b/c of the PS limit.

This is really why I’m not playing it much… Considering some matches go on for as long as they do, you literally can “farm more scrap” playing a few fast rounds of Patrol. Just go into patrol with a low PS, and the matches are crazy quick sometimes.

Here here! This x 10. And so many don’t just SD and sit there if no one kills them…

My main build uses 8 energy in relics (2 Punishers). PS is not stopping any 4 or less energy relics from working.

I don’t have porcs either but I wouldn’t mind getting the ability to porc people

If I were to ever sell a ton of stuff to get relics, they’d be it.

They’re the only relics I’ve seen be truly OP through every nerf/buff cycle I can remember.

That’ll probably never happen, though. I can handle a 3K item being nerfed. I think I’d be infuriated over a 30k one getting the nerf.

I was originally gunning to get porcs, but then they released angler fish and saw disk relics and bought them instead  Not cause I thought they’d be good but cause they look nice  Yes I can be a  Sometimes

First of all, nice videos.

I wish turrets players would watch your videos and not dropping them in such a way creating choke points at the bridge or at the gates.
And i want to say the following.
In the first video you said trust your team mates they will create covering fire, that’s a bad tactic.
There are games where the entire team doesn’t get through the first gate.
Always pop whatever you have.
And i will like to add the following.
right of passage around choke points.
If a build is slightly ahead of you, let him pass
don’t block the way for a team mate.
streamline your build, to minimized the danger of entanglement.

And don’t forget, either as a Ravager or a Survivor the points translate in rewards, Points are made from damage AND checkpoints
the further you go the more you get in either team.
So, don’t be too keen in wiping the other team too soon.
the same place in different games gives different rewards.

Thanks, mate!

Yes, I’m switching now sometimes. There are some team mate who wont/can’t shot ^^

Sometimes there are so small decisions. In any mode you are improving and with the experience you can do better decisions. Sometimes it’s also “game luck” or momentum.

great build for helping people through.

Problem I had (similar build 4 turrets 1 hawk) was that if you place the turrets for optimum coverage, your team mates run into them flipping over etc.

Probably just need to learn better places to drop em idk.

That’s IMHO a generel problem with turret players. They don’t know how to use them.
In the first video, I explained how and where you have to place them. But you can keep in mind that flashing out your turrets in the middle of the way is seldom a good idea.

“Flashing out your turrets” Why does it sounds so accurate? :joy:

Seeing the flag, I’m guessing @98613991 Caciqu3 speaks German natively & English second.
I took 4 years of German in High School and College & couldn’t order lunch in German if my life depended on it (granted, that was nearly 30 years ago). So, not only do I give a lot of leeway with the language, but I’m with @82997663 Clebardman in that the phrase “flashing out turrets” is absolutely spot on.

I don’t want to make racist generalities, but I think we can make generalities regarding education systems. As a french, I can tell you I’m basically a living god among mortals with my ability to scribble in english, and it’s not a party trick I learnt in school despite a solid decade of teaching. I spent vacations with germans when I was 15-16yo. They could ALL talk 3+ different languages fluently, and had latin and greek notions. They were around 16-18yo too :skull:

I still have an inferiority complex to this day, and learning the easiest language on earth since then didn’t do much for my self-esteem U_U

I can ask a beer and make dirty suggestions in romanian tho, so there’s that. The useless talents you learn during your journey through life…

The problem we 'muricans face is that the vast majority of us have zero opportunity to use the languages we’re taught without spending a large sum of money to travel great distances. I learned German because of family ancestry. Since then, I have had precisely ONE opportunity to speak it outside of an academic setting (with relatives who visited after the wall fell).

I also took a lot of Spanish courses, but it wasn’t until I worked in an industry where I was absolutely surrounded by Spanish speakers all day long that I really learned it.

Europeans have a decided advantage in that a people group who speak another language is just a “short drive” away.

*short by American standards

We regularly go visit relatives 800 miles (what… like 1300km?) away. We drive there. We pass no people group that speaks any other language.

So, unless you’re well off and traveling OVERSEAS a great deal, you can study all the other languages you want, but unless you go to Mexico to speak Spanish, you’ll largely never use it. And let me tell ya… it isn’t like riding a bike. If you don’t use it, you lose it.

You are not making a racist generality, you are making a Nationalistic generality.

My first language is Salish. 6 years ago they came and had me say every word I knew to record it.

If you want a true challenge, learn Salish. You can pump some of the old air out.

Read and listened a bit, that sounds really cool. Do you by chance have any music with a salish singer to share? Folk or modern, doesn’t really matter.

edit: that’s my musician reaction to hearing about new cultures/languages. My french reaction is to ask for cooking recipes (((^:

It depends. Whoever wants to learn foreign language, does that. In most second world countries there are ways in education to study languages, aside from native/official one.
