I dont play anoymore: here's what it wpuld take to get me back

Servers where server-side latency isnt so bad i have to lead hitscan weapons. Now that are little to none hitscan weapons? I have NO interest in playing. I have fused relics and 100k in inventory, but if everything is on a 200ms delay, why would i want to play a PoS game that doesnt reward skill.

For example, i shoot pool(billards) at my home bar. They have nice table where the balls dont roll off course. They are level and a straight shot rolls straight. I go to the bar down the road, and their tables are horrible. To make a slow-roll shot, you have to know which way the table leans and account for that. That is the same as crossout.

If i wanted to play a game of old-information, id do that. But i dont. I want to play a game where i learn the aiming mechanics, learn how to lead my target by x-amount of degrees and be satisfied when i land the shot. Play on NA servers, then EU servers and your point of aim changes by 20°. Thats f*ing garbage. Its 2025, i have 1gb upload and download, and yet i still CANNOT replicate the consistency of shooting in my garage.

So until i read about an update on servers, i will continue to keep XO uninstalled.

Why am i here? I take my daily shit and read NFL news. When i run out of new articles, i read XO. Call me an optimistic pessimist, but I want XO to be a legit multiplayer game, but server latency makes it a joke. As soon as we arent on backup WoT servers, maybe i give it another try.

I’m sorry to hear your frustration and I can’t blame you. I know several folks from South America who gave up for the same reasons…lousy server performance, always playing at 140+ ping rates. Targem won’t even give them their own server. Not sure how they stayed as long as they did. I don’t know if the server problem is Targem’s or Gaijin’s fault, and I don’t know if it’s common for games in the industry to share servers. Either way, it does seem unfair that Crossout is the red-headed stepchild on some other game’s backup servers, whether by Targem’s choice or Gaijin’s mandate.

I’ve mentioned this to a few people in a similiar situation as you…is there any chance you might be playing using a wireless connection? For me, the game was becoming more and more unplayable until I switched back to a wired connection. Oftentimes the hardware your ISP provides for wireless is the cheapest junk they can find; I had to replace the cable modem 3 times before they gave me one that worked, but I STILL had to move back to a wired connection. Been ok ever since.

well, targem cant even shit out a regular balance update, letalone fix their existing servers. ping compensation or new servers are probably off the table

Servers never changed though, feels like you just left due to lack of hitscan anymore
