I found something absolutely diabolical. (new meta?)

So some people use goliaths for armor, which is cool. There’s just one small issue: high mass limit cabins (like Cohort and Machinist) peak above the goliaths, making it easier to hit them if you do it right… all except one. Mars is slightly shorter, and thus can hide inside the goliaths without peaking above them. Mars has a decent mass limit, so you can hide it in probably 4 or 6 goliaths (guessing, need more goliaths) if you wanted to. The only issue is guns, you need a way to hide them, or use durable-ish ones. Mammoths are okay, but can still be shot off if they peak above the goliaths. There is a gun that can solve both the durability issue, AND the hiding issue: the Avalanche. mount one of these big cannons in the front, and it is just evil. You can spin in place to protect yourself from and shots with the goliaths, and then spin back to shoot the Avalanche. Protect the rear with some heavy armor and/or bumpers, and you are (almost) indestructible. I feel like I am going to be hated for posting this, or I might just be an idiot, IDK.

Here’s a pic of the Mars and how well it fits behind the Goliath:

I still need more goliaths, only have 2 rn, but am working on a smaller version of this idea!! Have fun!!

Here’s the problem with goliaths!! is that even if you can protect the guns it is still very prone to wedging, it is not even the fact that the guns get shot off easy. Now I did make a wedge proof goliath build in the exhibition called the IceWalrus which is actually decent at wedging other builds and I even made it to gold in the last 20k ps uranium wars with that lemon of a build but you got to be has heavy has possible. You can never make a meta goliath build it don’t exist period. Now you can make builds that perform decent like my 20k ps goliath build does but it is still not meta like not even close it is just fun to mess around with and that is why I use it.

I played you earlier today and flipped you over like a feather lol if I can recall. You really need a lot of mass on it and protect the areas prone to wedging in the front and don’t make it too thin or people can hit you from the sides and flip you over even if you do have a decent amout of mass on it.

Also another problem with goliaths especially if your running more than 4 is that you get stuck in crevices very easy if your not careful.

Ye I noticed after testing this that it flips a lot. :sob:

Yep that’s why I don’t use goliaths at low power score like you really got to be heavier or close to heavier than everything else to take advantage of the traction that tracks provide and even then it is not much of a pushing advantage! just something that is fun to mess around with thats all.

I only recently picked up some Goliaths, and I’m surprised at how much I like their handling now.
