I know it's April's Fool, but this has gone too far

Do you unironically expect a 9920PS player can win a fight agaisnt 17699PS enemy, Targem? Are you mentally challenged?

Well who am I kidding, to unironically believe hit-scan removal is good, one must not even have a single functioning brain cell to pull up this matchmaking and assume it’s fine.

i once came across a dude that was around 2k powerscore going into a match with 12ks… needless to say he didnt last very long.
some say his ghost still haunts that place where he got destroyed to this day…

they make shit updates so unsurprisingly nobody plays the game and then the poor matchmaker has to do this

Blame this, they got no other choice to have such a wide power score discrepancy these day’s because the player base is dwindling. I noticed it recently too that the power score gap is getting worse and worse by the day.

and we have all the console players who whined about hit-scan yet don’t ever turn off aim assist to blame.

dont forget the russian loser at 4k + who run a emulator with that aim assist on pc

Guys… you know it’s not the matchmaking but the player ?

Clearly those huge outliers are grouped with people 10k above them. Made the mistake once (friend forgot to switch build) and it was fun to fight 12k builds with a 6k build.

But to be fair, there should probably be a limit to the PS difference inside a group. Or at least a warning that the difference is high.

no theyre not

Yeah sorry I focused on Zarruer’s experience with the 10k difference while OP’s case is a bit different because they are the one 2k below the rest. For them I don’t know how the MM managed that. Console player ?

the game is dead so the matchmaker has no other option than to do this, otherwise it could never start a game or you would be waiting for a long time in queue

A lot of players claim that the game is dead and doesn’t have enough players but that’s far from my experience. It may be because I am playing on PC in europe in the evening but I never have to wait more than a minute to start and teams are usually balanced. My main problem is usually the opposite : Sometimes the matchmaker starts games in less than 5 seconds with team of 4 + 4 bots. One or 2 bot spots are usually filled at start but I would prefer to wait 15 secs or even a minute for full lobby. I know that console and americas have more problems with player number though.

the player count doesnt go higher than in eu evening. around morning when people are going to work or school you end up with those 10k PS differences and you see the exact same players every single game. and even when the count is high you still end up with occasional bad matchups and you mostly see the same players if you keep queuing at the same time.
and these days this is even worse, the average playercount is as low as ever

Haven’t you realized yet that Targem Gaijin isn’t looking for anything “fair” or “balanced”? Their only goal, for a long time now, has been to make money. And what better way to make money than by promoting clear imbalances in power, lethality, usability, and progression, among many other things? I’ll say it again: their only goal is to make money. That’s why every season they deliberately unbalance certain weapons or components, that’s why they introduce bots into the market, and that’s why they set up matches that are totally and utterly rigged. Too much “satisfaction” is never profitable, and too much dissatisfaction isn’t either—although eventually, once you understand their unpleasant business model, they end up causing the latter and you quit the game, like I did

If you quit the game, why are you posting here?

Sometimes I just go into the push notifications that come to my email and keep seeing the same bugs and stories that gaijin has made and hasn’t fixed since the beginning.
