Referring to the Devs and the 10 year long game imbalance now.
Think about it, they’ve released many new packs with OP weapons over the years, that only get nerfed 6-12 months later.
Resulting in everyone wanting to have the new Meta, coins exchanged in the market and impatient people not having enough coins to buy it, spending real money.
Balance Patch comes, and always, yes always devs overnerf the OP weapon into oblivion, mass selling on the market, prices go down.
The weapons you bought for a high amount of Coins, you can now only sell at 25-50% of the original value that you paid for, meaning, the game ate 50-75% of your coins, and for people who paid real money this means means youve lost that percentage of real money for weapons that were once great, but now overnerfed.
But dont worry, the latest pack will fix this, it has a new meta weapon that is OP, so you can feel good and strong again when you buy it.
Can you see the cycle happening here?
Its a predatory system preying on the young and impatient.

i think most people see it by now, but they will still keep buying stuff because they are addicted to being the p2w chad who carries all the games

Every braindead meta has a counter. It’s a game of rock, paper, scissors, gun, magic-ball-kills-them-all. IE triton was beat by being faster, triton hyena was beat by being slippery, corax…. Nah you’ve got a point with the corax…. Hybrid, just be far away, so on… there’s a really fun effect of the braindead meta where the braindead players can’t let go of the old meta after it’s been nerfed to dirt (looking at you, triton users)

queue a short video where hyenas just ram into you and push you, and you can’t drive away because the tracks are just like that, impossible to drive away once they facehug you
queue another video where hybrid just spams the grenades across the map and consistently deals thousands of damage
lmao the currently #1 players in the game (aka twist) use the torpedo triton because it’s literally impossible to counter. they facehug you faster than you can get on a somewhat favourable position and you die. the whole match takes less than 50 seconds to win
but sure, “triton has been nerfed to dirt”
but what i’ve expected from a guy that literally says “place your guns at a 15hp dongle” as a honest advice

Okay dude, I can say between this post and the last, you just suck at the game. I’m the last person you cry “meta” to. I can’t imagine a situation where I just let a hybrid air-mail me butterfly kisses from across the map and I just take it, but I might give it a shot to get your point of view. Hyenas, meet atoms. I will not elaborate. You seem like you have a tough time with the game. And you really are stuck in the rift thing huh? Barnie style comin in to your level. Rifts are fragile, so you hide them in super-duper safe spots dispersed around your build, make them extra safe, extra hidden, extra safe, and did I mention hidden? You connect up some super duper armor around the super duper expensive parts that are all connected together with all your different rifts. But maybe you’re right, maybe I haven’t -not- had a single match where they failed, maybe i was using this and decided to share because I was having such a bad time. Now, it’s already been patched, so don’t stress your noggin. Imma just stay off the forums, you actually made my head hurt.

Also should be noted, tritons score crazy low in CC. Not only are they grasping onto a dead meta, they’re scoring lower because of it. What’s the point? Comfort food.

No, it’s a business, for us is entertainment for them it’s their way of living, it’s how they put bread in their table.
If you ( you in general you )want to feel strong and good, you know what to do, if you want to get by you know what to do.
And while there’s a difference between how the game was and how is now.
They are still light years from being much worse.
Well, that’s natural i guess, but going towards trends doesn’t necessary translate in good results, relying on METAS doesn’t work, they came and go, investing in a design does, it can outlive several METAS.
e.g. Crickets are trending now but Pyres hurt much more. Before the buff and now after the buff
