I was wrong about Thor Generator

I wouldn’t say it’s exactly P2W, but it’s leaning that way.

I mean, unless you paid for that BP, you’re not going to be able to duplicate a ton of builds easily. The BPs are giving a pretty clear advantage in my opinion. It’s not a lot of money, so it’s not P2W in the mindset that you drop in, pay $500 and start dominating. Maybe “play every season to win” is a thing? If you miss a battle pass at this point, you must might miss a part or two that is OP.

Another example… imagine if that Athena had really turned out to be an OP part. If you hadn’t played BPs in the past to get the parts needed to craft it, AND paid for THIS battle pass, you’d be out of luck. People who had played and paid would have a clear advantage.

And another example, when I slap that Thor under my Beholder that is also a BP item, don’ t think I don’t know I have an advantage over someone running non-BP fuzed cabs with an Apollo or Gasgen.

I DO NOT like the direction the game is going with limited availability… it’s not P2W in my book, but by gawd, it’s close.

Imagine somebody rolling non-bp fused builds all day with $100 worth of match fused battlepass parts thinking they are the better player, lmfao.

Bruh i could slap you around with unfused anihilators. Get gud.

You always pay for parts, either with your money or with your time - ultimately with gold coins.
If you’ve been playing Crossout for more than 6 years, you use and appreciate fusing, because otherwise a lot of the build ideas wouldn’t be possible.
Does this give you any advantages?
Of course, that’s the whole point. Or would you rather stand still in the game progress? Why should you fuse if it doesn’t give you any advantages or superiority over normal opposing builds.
A power score increase would be the wrong way.
Newbies or others who have nothing going for them, play hovers - it gives you huge advantages over builds on wheels or tracks. Even against massively fused builds.

I will forgive the necropost, but there is no need for advancement in the manner of fusion. Fusion is Pay to win and the last year or two of battlepasses introducing god fuse battlepass items is proof enough.
The progress ought to lie in your skill and building ability, and in the variety of options to play. Your progress ought to lie in the size of your gameplay clip collection size and satisfaction from re watching them.
