what I would do differently:
I wouldn’t fart around with trying to grind out a free rig.

When I did the new account on PC, I didn’t make anything other than one of each weapon to satisfy dailies.
I then just played that one build to engineer 30 piling scrap, copper and fuel.
I sold the pile and bought the cheapest OP purple weapons on the AH (happened to be mini guns at the time, but insert whatever is FOTM).
Then farm to get the rads or w/e boosts yer weapons.
My second set of weapons were ones I hadn’t played with before. Because who cares about stuff they already played 5,000 times…
The biggest piece of advice I would give is: Make sure to always max your rep gain on every build until you have all the factions opened and to level 10.
