It's time to stop these predatory balancing, Targem. Put hit-scan back onto Machine guns!

Commit crossbow is the prime example of how Targem is actively using shitty balancing to launch a predatory FOMO tactic, with hit-scan removal being just one of their means to get people buy their battle pass, BY REMOVING THE MOST EFFECTIVE COUNTER of Commit a.k.a. tracing stripper guns.

Targem knew what they’re doing, and they used the cluelessness of redditors in their favor against the entire playerbase.

This predatory FOMO balancing needs to be stopped, Targem, you’re already struggling to retain new players.

It’s not that hard to do:

  1. Put Hit-scan back onto small machine guns, shotguns and Corvo,
  2. Make Aquilo cost 3e (1.5E) instead of 2e (1E), since its perks doubles it as cooler,
  3. Make damage resistance of Fin Whale work like Shiver the epic cooler,
  4. Properly nerf Jackie (and maybe Omamori, too), because they’re just a must-have instead of a side-grade,
  5. And remove (enhanced) aim assist from all platforms. FPS players on console didn’t spent all their time training their aim without it only to get owned by legal aimbots, and so does PC players that spent all those time practicing tracing.

no??

it’s worse than seal to compensate.

fin whale and omamori exist so hitscan is the last thing in this entire game i would call “predatory”

please stop spamming the forum with this. you have made your own threads before so go post there if you want to rant instead of making several posts to spam your opinion.

that’s part of the problem: they shouldn’t have.

you mean omamori and finwhale shouldnt have existed? i would agree with that but unfortunately people put money into them and targem is braindead so theyre not nerfing it any year soon

I would suggest to massively nerf both of them ngl.

We all suggested that right when they came out. So at least omamori got a slight nerf from absorbing 400 to 300 damage. Its probably not going further than that, since people already paid for the items, aka theyre untouchable customerbase that devs need to cherish
