I tried and like GX but after a while it started to download random files through the browser and it seemed quite suspicious. Not sure what it was doing but that coupled with the allegations of ties to China meant that I just dropped it
I’ve been using it for connecting to my local generative AI and occasionally, I use it’s built in vpn which is a nice feature. Sometimes when cloudfire goes down it’s the only browser I can get to connect to some of those sites. The only little files I’ve noticed is the launch home page screen refreshing often. I like to isolate tasks so nothing I do tends to see everything.
Memory issues on edge and chrome go away a bit if you restart them often too btw. It seems like their usage skyrockets after leaving them open too long even with setting backgrounds tabs to idle. There’s a lot of hidden flags that can be tweaked for those too though.
lol its just DMM its like if they stopped using steam and provided transfers to just gaijin nothing will happen will stay same
Yeah, this is nothing.
There’s a dude that streams on Twitch that is in Japan and he is in the regular PC servers with the rest of us. He sometimes locks to Russian servers because he said there aren’t any active servers for him to play on. Next time I catch him on I’ll ask him some questions about this topic.
right on, thanks. though we’ve mostly figured out the DMM is a service like Steam.
