Kami almost 20k per cabin

ive lost all hope in this game. and whats next? “oh lets release it in the next mini battlepass to bring down the cost”. at this point im just gonna quit this game, its not worth spending anymore time in a dying game.

On PC, Kami is currently at 6200 coins.

Just a thought, instead of rebalancing weapons and modules all the time, maybe they should also rebalance the price of stuff and start lowering those prices. Newer players, and players who don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend, must feel screwed after seeing how much effort or coins it takes to get decent stuff…and maybe that’s one of the reasons for poor player retention.

I don’t care if I paid 350 coins for a seal 3 years ago; cut the price in half NOW, if it helps to keep people in the game.

but this isnt the problem!
they are putting tons of blueprints into the game that are temporary, we cant build enough of them to keep the prices stable. they are putting in so many in fact that prices for everything are all over the place. some items go up to 20k, remember the stillwind? yeah that used to be around 30k but mainly cause it was used for a relic, the odin. but also some items like the finwhale go for stupidly high prices because not only are they good but you cant make it anymore. the devs then think its a good idea to sell us the solution to keep the prices stable in a mini battlepass.

theres to many temporary blueprints in the game as is and it keeps growing. hell the next battlepasses coming up with the scavengers and lunatics are going to bring EVEN MORE temporary blueprints into the game. how many more will it be? 8 or 10 more blueprints? when is this going to become to much?

are they going to start handing out several legendaries in mini battlepasses to off set the item costs?

look at athenas, they are 12k per gun, whos going to buy that?
look at kami, 20k per cabin, is anyone going to buy that?

im sick and tired of this “well this items to high in price, lets release it in a mini battlepass to lower the price”. this isnt going to solve anything! its just a band aid on a bigger problem!

whats next? theres going to be so many battlepass items in the game that you cant make that the prices of those items will go through the roof, then what? mini battlepasses last 30 days, are they going to cut that time in half and give us more mini battlepasses for more money?

im tired of people staying silent about this. the community needs to come together to stop this, this isnt crossout anymore its a fricken cash grab and a fomo game.

Do the targem deveopers ever take notice of the negetivity on this forum???
Don’t get me wrong it’s justified
Their reputation seems pretty badly stained now and yeh currently this game is dying…

i only spend my daily 200 fuel on raids, play a few missions and then thats it…

I’ve suggested a few times to try adding the workpieces to the badge exchange to try to fix some of the cost issues on temp pass items. These could be cycled automatically based on price points or other figures such as time.

The problem is if the price slumps too much below the cost of resources for crafting people just move on to making other items instead. This was kind of apparent when they first released the workpieces into the bp system which is why I think they stopped giving them to us in the first place during the events.

I don’t think they directly read it as much as they use to. I think the mods normally digest most of that and then hand in their reports to their superiors. That is at least what it sounded like when I read their application for moderators on the old forum.

I’d Argue Hovers are a big reason why the games dying. I’m sick of Hovers 90% of games

Pretty sure the devs look at Discored more unfortunately

no, its not.
with the predatory monetization of this game i believe this is the major reason why they are losing alot of players. players see the prices of packs and see the crap they pull in here with non-permanent blueprints and the cost of limited items (kami for example being 20k) and they see how long it takes to grind the coin to get it and just leave.

i’d argue we’ll agree to disagree…hovers are fine…i don’t use/like then btw, fyi……the problem(s) are elswhere…

but mostly, it’s the abyssmaly-catastrofically-unFreakiNbelievably BAD management of current assets that the game has…

plain and simple

…again, this adresses just a part of the problem…money (for many…not me  ) isn’t always a problem. it’s how they get to it (the bad management thingy i said before) that causes the ripple effect of players quitting.

Hello Survivors,

Great topic by the way. My hope is that the lights continue to stay on (For this game). My fear is with continued decline of players that a decision will be made to shelve Crossout. That would be very sad for me since I love to build my lego car and blow-up stuff.

Shrug, I wish that folks running the game would listen.

At this point I don’t wanna play.
Because every single game there’s Hovers.

Hovers have always been OP and META since they were added.
No possible reason to be against a Hover nerf. (Especially after they were buffed with perks.)
Unless your a hover user Cheesing the system.

Hey MrFoogle1,

I hear you my man. I don’t own any hovers. Never liked the vibe since this is supposed to be a mad max themed game.

buddy, theres more omni directional parts now then just hovers. we got omnis, atoms, more legs and other parts that are more durable then hovers. imo the most op of them are omnis.

i have hovers myself but i havent used them in god knows how long. i can never get them to work for me. the turning is to wonky, the playstyle with them is to awkward and they just dont suit my playstyle. how other people get these to work for them ill never know.
hovers have been nerfed alot over the years and to me they just arent playable anymore. even if they were i think alot of people prefer ground builds rather then hovers. moving omnidirectional is nice but at times it can be… difficult…

It’s weird which items end up going for huge prices on the market. Sometimes it’s the obvious high powered things, but often it’s stuff that’s not actually popular in-game.
I like the idea of Kami, but I hardly use mine. Made a car with it last week, but I have so many other cabins that would have worked better. But I like the looks and the speed, so I chose it anyway.

As a new free to play player I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use even a single legendary. guess I’ll stick to rares and specials, and later on epics?

I mean it’s hard enough to even get a special-grade weapon, and some epics are almost as much as legendries? What do I do??? Is there something I’m missing maybe, maybe a method to grind that I didn’t yet find?

getting weapons and whatnot in the game is grindy. alot of people will say to buy a few packs to get started but its bad advice.
ive been playing crossout for years and i only got a few relics and quite a few legendaries. the problem is prices on resources like scrap, copper and whatnot are low.
the best thing you can really do is play the game, earn some resources and then either save them up to build your own legendary or just save up the coin to slowly buy legendaries. for relics i wouldnt recommend them as they are very expensive.

alot of legendaries that you CAN build with the permanent blueprints already in the game go for decent prices and are usually around 3k per weapon / cabin / module. if its to high then wait till they drop, it might take a while but its worth waiting.

weapons / cabins / modules / movement parts that are in battlepasses and are unavailable to make after the battlepass ends are usually alot of coins and are usually double or even triple the price depending how good it is. if its meta then they usually see extremely high prices. if you have one then you can make a ton of coin off them.

also i would advise against making legendaries as they are very VERY resource intensive and require many weapons from other factions to make. if you have the resources and are willing to wait then by all means go ahead and make it.

another way to make coins or resources in the game is clans, if you join one you will have access to the clan challenges but its based on clan confrontation and its not very friendly to beginners. its basically a reaper measuring contest (if you catch my meaning) and theres alot of try hards in it. heck clan wars is worse but you dont need to do that one. basically how CC works is you compete and you get 5 scores of your best rounds, add them up and thats your clan rating contribution for the week. you can keep doing it to get higher scores, its held every hour so you can enter when its open. get a high enough score and clan challenges open up more to you though if your not in an active clan you wont get many badges.

you can also do raids for copper. plastic is a great resource to get to and it sells quite high, usually around 60 - 70 coins per 100. just be careful with your fuel spending though, you get 200 per day and plastic raids are 40 per run.

Thank you! I’ll try some of this stuff more. Also unrelated, how do I make my own post? Even tho I finished the chat bot thing it won’t let me on here.

im unsure if theres a time limit to you being able to make a post, usually it has a thing there when you click “discussions” in the categories section itll have a button called “new topic” in yellow that you can make posts there.
