And basically it’s your personal leviathan in the raids
Less is more, this is the conclusion i reached after switching from Cyclones to… Sinus. ( at least in my case )
( i think this is because now i’m get a lot more physical with the bots with Sinus than with Cyclones ).
Sinus were always in the garage collecting dust, i had no use for them ( my mistake ).
Not that i have a particular liking for Sinus…i don’t .
Now that i found a thing that can outperform Cyclones, is there anything better than Sinus? ( you know me, always tweaking )
So i was in a raid in my merry way trying to test piercers ( i’m starting with what i have )
( with high probability, piercers family will be my next type of weapon in PVP BTW )
Anyways, in that raid i was destroyed and spawned next to the leviathan, the problem was two bots who came in his rescue and alone, it was too much to me to handle and i died.
I saw this.
his name is not important, nor the weapon combination ( it’s relics FFS ), he had a Whirl in the front, maybe the fact he’s not having a full set will matter.
But before this point i was outperforming him with specials, he ended the raid with +34k damage done.
I don’t think i’m biased on this conclusion, what do you think?
making players spend more time on the game and getting much less in return is the targem developers personal policy… whether it’s the grind, the nerfs or those crown coin tokens you can buy at a huge rip off price and spend on premium pack bundles…
I and many other players over the years said more should be done with leviathans but the dodgy targem dev’s wont listen
Dude has relics but his combo is trash, also wtf is that punisher base. 26k in this raid is meh, so is 34k. You and the guy in question use the extremely dated builds, like, 2019 level or so
It isn’t, their main policy is basically this:
Get as many new players as possible by promoting. Buy Youtube sponsorships, ads etc.
These new players are buttsecksed to oblivion by meta builds, because you only nerf things that are outperforming to the point of “50% of the matches will have a full lobby of these” aka tritons and custom elephants.
New players buy the pass, pack or whatever, expecting to also chew ass and kick gum.
The catch is, usually you need several BPs to actually make a good build. Or you need to put 3-7k extra coins for parts like fin whale, cyclops etc.
We get two possible further outcomes:
a) New player stays in the game. New player puts even more money in the game (by buying more packs, event and battle passes etc)
b) New player leaves. The cycle is over.
By the way, this is EXACTLY why you shouldn’t trust 99% of the products that have intense Youtube sponsorships.
If your product is good, naturally you’ll have returning customers, plus they’ll also be recommending your product to their friends, so you wouldn’t need to advertise that much in the first place.
But if your product is bad, your only option is to lure in unsuspecting people that weren’t yet dissapointed by it.
This is what infuriates me actually, since these companies spend so many of their money on sponsorships on ads just to keep the hamster in the wheel going until it dies of exhaustion… money that, you know, COULD BE USED TO ACTUALLY MAKE YOUR PRODUCT GOOD???
Youre giving targem way too much credit, i havent seen a crossout ad in years and their own content is useless at best.
Idk if their goal is to attract new players, but either way it doesnt look like theyre trying
What that even means?
I don’t know how many years this build has ( it’s not old per say ) but it’s an upgrade to a design even older, that came from the Slaughter event some years ago ( that was an incredible event, that produced a revolutionary leap for me )
Bruiser , Puncher came from Storm Chaser, in it’s turn, came from older designs, i can trace them to the OG build, as all of my builds, including my race builds.
Puncher e.g. went through 8 or 9 versions cause of the Buffs and Nerfs fiesta a couple of years ago, but it still runs and it’s capable of doing good games.
26k is very low, the problem wasn’t the leviathan, i had it under control, the problem was the other two bots, and the fact i spawned far from where i was.
But the results i’m having now, generally speaking, i doubled what i normally used to get.
I apparently saw another guy with the same problem as me, he’s already is at relics but with no full set, perhaps he would be better off with a more “manageable” set ?
Shielding them from the leviathan fire and providing free damage for them.
in smaller teams ( with 2 or 3 ), like yesterday where there were only two, me and other guy with a much smaller build, he fought in my shade with me absorbing a lot of spiders and sixth wheeled tsunamis.
Also Yesterday, there were two of them ( crazy weapons combinations) in my team all they had to do was killing a swarm of unarmed and half dead bots.
At least my build is reliable, it does was it was made for, point being, we never know who are the others in the team.

In PVP they allow me and PS bracketing also to not think much of crickets, corax and son on.
It takes three full cricket volleys to get rid of me with two i can still be a annoying, with one i can still fight ( pyres hurt a lot more, let me tell you) but everyone is busy with the cricket fiesta, which is fine for me.
Corax…is not a single Corax that will even call my attention .

I saw a lot of META builds ( and i still see and will see ) usually they came with an expiration date and go very fast and my builds are still here.
They may look old but they aren’t that old, i’m always updating them to what annoys me the most.
