And see the fuel prices skyrocket.
Because even if you bring fuel tanks to them and survive the whole 5 minute match, you get nothing.
So lets all go to the new missions for a week, and watch the PvE players cry for fuel.
The Devs really didnt think this through.

yeaaah… the only way you get fuel is if you survive the entire match without being destroyed and thats pretty much impossible to not be destroyed at least once. if i could earn fuel from this id do a bit of pvp with revives so that i could make some fuel for myself but sadly it isnt the case…
i wish theyd change this because fuel is becoming more and more rare.
back when we didnt have next step you aquired fuel normally through normal pvp matches and this kept the price of fuel relatively low, about 6 - 7 coins per 100 fuel, but when next step came around with these battlewalker legs and helis, the price of fuel skyrocketed to over 20 coins per 100 and even going as high as 28 coins per 100.
now its not worth buying fuel because they also lowered the rewards in raids so you earn less now then you did before.
i just wish we had a functioning way to get fuel in pvp instead of having to play just classic to get it. i like the respawns so i feel that would get me back in but without anything like fuel as a prize i just dont want to. feels like a waste of time to me. heck i havent touched my fuel supply in years since they changed the raids up and i sold some of it off for cash.
i wish things would be better.
Back when fuel was cheaper, I used to do 10 levi invasions per day because it paid off. It doesn’t really pay to buy fuel now, so I just do 5 per day with the free fuel they give you daily…and after the incin nerfs, I had to start crafting more repair kits as well.
repair kits should be half their cost. with everything so expensive i feel the costs should be reduced. i mean its just repair kits right?
I never buy them, I craft them. On PC, it’s 300 scrap and 90 copper, for a set of 5. I use about 6-8 per week.
I disagree with this thread. I also suggest a Patrol without these useless copters that cannot or will not defend the base. Bunch of high power score cowards hide in the sky and lose.
if you use more than a single free repair kit per raid then either you have a skill issue or your teammate(s) have a skill issue tbh
i only ever use the free one and its usually enough. sometimes though the enemies do cheat so im forced to use a repair kit once in a blue moon. but its become so rare now that i do raids. also ever since terminal 45 got taken out theres only 1 perimeter breach raid and i rarely see it come in with the enemies i like to fight.

You spawn you die and respawn again
there’s no chance in hell that you will manage to bring fuel home after a next step mission
Personally i manage to survive several times to the same guy, multiple times, and there were guys that got me multiple times until i manage to take them out.
if you die or kill, seconds later you are at it again, again, and again…
Even “meta builds” don’t have any.
AFAIK, the only thing that’s farmable in there is the orbs.
Look… it’s very different.
In classic missions i never sd, in the next step mission i’m sd all the time, or i’m out of ammo or and i’m on my last legs or i want to deny my orb to the other guy, giving it to my team mate.
