With the eventual nerf to Commits looming ever closer as they can’t push back on balance changes forever, let’s talk some buffs. What guns do you think need buffs, and if you want to go into specifics, what kinds of buffs?
For me, Waltz need a barrel spool up time reduction, they fire too sluggishly to work in modern day crossout. Also bring back on-hit damage for missiles and rockets that you took away for god knows why
Other specifics, Astraeus needs to be able to hold max charge dor a while rather than instantly firing, Varun needs to be full auto. Vultures are still bad but honestly all of this feels like something they’d never do to begin with.
Corvo needs even further bullet speed increase, or then some love in some other way. Not by a whole lot but it’s just still not that viable sadly
Locust weapon line needs their physical models retweaked a little so you can actually mount them on top of each other again. Or then given some more up/down aiming angle because 90% of the time when you’re moving even if you’re aiming as high as possible you can pretty much shoot only at the ground in front of you for the most part. That was the main reason people mounted them on top of each other to begin with, to use the side to side aiming as the up and down aiming, and now nobody uses them
You know that devs dont like buffing stuff! but id say Skinner! give us back the old stats 7 second hold time and get rid of the cat piss weak snapping cable.
all drones except grenadiers and annihilators need a buff.
anacondas need a rework to make them fire faster, reload faster, better missile tracking, prevention from the missile faceplanting, more damage and maybe be slightly smaller because they are quite big. owls can get the same treatment minus the size reduction.
fuzes need a big buff to their damage. they are suicide drones for god sake, make them do the damage they are supposed to do! i miss seeing big chunks of armor falling off brick builds.
the acari sucks, it needs a change.
quasar cause it sucks golf balls through a garden hose. its hitbox is tiny and you have to be stupid accurate with it or else youll whiff your shot. also this weapon relies on hitting enemies from far away to get a better reload time, if you see the projectile coming at you all you need to do is shimmy to… literally any direction and itll miss.
slaughterer cause this weapon sucks basketballs through a straw. this gun just sucks.
heather because it NEEDS an aoe to make it work. having this gun be a direct hit gun is bad enough, those missiles it fires should have an aoe on them like the mandrake does.
let’s address the real problem in the game first nd its the power score biggest flaw in the game nd all the popular twitch nd youtubers who r partnered couldn’t even figure that out, the power scores r to close together, i’m sick of nerf this nerf that buff this buff that, that crap doesnt balance anything
I would say an entire rework ( flying drones )
being able to stack the pods would be nice
being able to launch them while upside down or on the side would be nice
unlike turrets that are indestructible when a team mate run them over, flying drones break if a team mate touch them, everything breaks them
Now let’s talk about combat.
Give drones overheating mechanics instead of the 30 seconds period cooldown
give more durability to drones ( 30 base durability it’s a joke ) or give the same behaviour of sidekicks or the annihilators behaviour.
Give the ability to wheeled drones to keep up with the mothership, and more durability please.
Caucasus it’s just garbage, they lack durability, transverse speed, fire angles, and range presently they have a very steep PS score for what they worth , give them more dispersion if need it
Limited firing angles Weapons, more durability they do not have enough , what it says in the tin, do not translate in combat.
Cyclones, and all Ac’s give more blast damage to them, they do not drill enough past certain PS

coomits are okay, 60km, slow cabin.
I wish Arothon got a qol improvement already of somehow knowing when your enemy is in the magical range of big damage, no matter how familiar I get with this gun it always feels like it’s still pretty random
Also I am not sure if they changed anything about it during the hitscan removal times, but I feel like it’s missing a lot more now, like the “explosion” happens 1-2 meters away from a moving enemy even though it was supposed to be a clean hit, kinda like how people were complaining single shot shotguns missed at point blank range
Medians and Tempura need some love too, and Tachi is just completely useless
