I have Xbox one. Not Next gen xs whatever.
Ok so CCā€¦
For me currently itā€™s literally impossible to play CC.
What happens? Easy.
I que. Then in the loading screen it kicks me. 99.99% of the time. I try and try because iā€™m trying to help my clan, but also so iā€™m not kicked.
Not even sure how long this has been going on. 2-4 months feels right.
But it used to kick me 20% of the time. Then 50% now 4v4 is impossible. I donā€™t get it.
My internet is the best Iā€™ve ever had tbh.
I know iā€™m wasting my time typing this but the devs really have to do something.
Few updates ago i had very Little issues in this regard. So clearly itā€™s because of said updates.

I know iā€™m not alone. At least a dozen people from in game chat were agreeing with me.

So, if itā€™s happening to anyone reading thisā€¦ Comment and spread the word. On discord etc wherever the devs may see it.
Because even if itā€™s only effecting 5% - 10% or 30% or maybe even 45% of players idk. Itā€™s a problem anyways. But does anyone care?

Yes, they will solve itā€¦ and they will release another ā€œpremiumā€ package for 65EUR and more and more monthly BP. money money. The player base is decreasing and the management is still ignoring it, as is this forum.

4v4 is a huge part. Cc bfu. Cw if i ever get to that point.

Whatā€™s a ticket gonna do.
Donā€™t see remotely how thatā€™ll help. Not like itā€™s just a me thing.
They broke 4v4 for the people without next gen consoles.
They should just fix it already. Not too damn difficult. Had zero issues in 4v4 at the start of this year, no issues during summer etc. But now? Iā€™m ready to quit because why bother. Will never earn uranium it seems and Iā€™m lucky I havenā€™t been kicked from my clan yet.
Surely the devs are aware of the problem. But do they care is the question.

The amount of tickets they get on a particular issue determines the severity of the issue and how fast they respond to it. (Thatā€™s normally how it works but with a poorly functionally company who knows.)

Iā€™ve had some days lately where it disconnects from more CC matches than successfully connect. But other days with no problems.
Iā€™m on an old PS4, so itā€™s not just a next gen console thing.
Also seeing a lot of lag in matches where several people are using Squalls.

There are also the undersea intercontinental internet cables that were damaged too. All that traffic gets rerouted as well.

Iā€™m not having disconnects in other modes though, just CC.
But somedays are better than others

If it doesnā€™t get fixed, I a loyal player might be forced to quit.
I just donā€™t see a point if i can never work towards relics.
I got 1 odin before the devs broke it. At least.
Iā€™ve been nerfed personally. :unamused:

You could try changing your DNS server that can sometimes change the route path between servers. Iā€™ve never tried it on a console before though. Thereā€™s OpenDNS, Google Public DNS just to name a few.

dns only gives you the address, it doesnt change your connection

There was some suggestions at better latency with some of them over others. It doesnā€™t do any harm to try and see if it does fix it. When you call up a DNS server you get ported first to a resolver then that forwards off the request to an authoritative one after. If itā€™s not caching correctly or failing on name resolving it could causes issues. Itā€™s also at least something he can check and rule out too.

Heā€™d still have to go through the ISPā€™s gateway regardless, VPN or a Proxy can help sometimes with stuff in the middle too. I think theyā€™ll let you do a Proxy directly on Xbox where as the VPN youā€™d have to set that up on either a router or use a computer as the middle man. Itā€™s just stuff to try.

thing is I get in, i got my badges from bfu at least.
The issue is when it takes points.
Can kick me 9\10 times and I lose points every time even though I never even loaded in.
Iā€™d still be mad regardless, 9 kicks to play 1 as an example is ridiculous.
But if it didnā€™t take points then at least I could try.
I hated bfu when i could play now i miss it :unamused::tired_face:

the only possibility is that his ISP might be blocking his game traffic for some reason, and a VPN could bypass that

But you still need the ISP to connect to a VPN; can an ISP differentiate gaming traffic from any ordinary bulk downloads?

Additionally, from what Iā€™ve read, VPNs usually slow down the data transfer rate because of the constant encryption, and some sites prohibit you from accessing their stuff if using a VPN. I donā€™t know if Crossout has such a policy.

It has no reason to, but it could if it wanted

Encryption is fast, but the ping might be slow.
It depends on vpn, maybe he has one where its still playable fine
Its true that some places block vpn but i dont think crossout does, it doesnt have a reason
