so im posting this because if the ammo change is going to be this restrictive then the manitou needs a change… and badly…
if you want that extra 20% damage youll need to sacrifice your clip to get that boost. this means sacrificing an ammo to do so, and considering the naguals have very low ammo counts… well… it just wont work out for the gun nor the cabin.
something i propose as a change is this.
have the ability always be active with the 20% boost being reloadable anytime.
or
have the gun be reloadable at any time to give the boost without sacrificing your ammo you currently have in it but give it a flat ammo cap instead of a condensed ammo cap. (what i mean is instead of 14 ammo spread out across the 3 reloads just give it 42 ammo).
how the reload perk would work is if you have 3 ammos in the chamber itll “reload” the gun and give the 20% boost to the ammo in there. if you have 1/3 ammo in there and trigger the reload itll refull the lost 2 ammo without sacrificing the third and give the 20% boost.
also instead of the 20% boost you can make it so the gun can reload multiple times ( 2 or 3 times) giving a 20% boost per reload but with a cooldown time between each reload. this would mean the guns have a 40 - 60% damage boost. i say this because the guns are limited in ammo but its not necessary i guess. just a thought.
but yeah the manitou needs a desperate rework on the ability… as do MANY of the other guns and cabins thanks to the changes that have been made.
also something i should mention to is… i had an idea for a reloading module for energy based weapons. its a battery. upon going a certain distance it replenishes weapon ammo depending on the weapon thats on your vehicle. i mean it makes sense doesnt it? your car generates the electricity, your battery converts that into ammo for your guns and thus replenishes your ammo.
theres also a recycler idea for standard ammo. upon driving around itll pick up bullets from the environment and give your guns some extra ammo. its environmentally friendly!
but yeah. what do you all think about the manitou idea?
