Manitou perk

since they removed the reload on the perk i find the cabin to be quite powerful. having a reload bonus to the naguals is really good, especially when theres no reload on them. just hit the button and instant 50% faster reload on a full barrel with an additional 20% damage thrown in and you can do it as you please. the reload button is always there without needing to wait.

anyone else think this is better?

I thought they got rid of the manual perk trigger?
Does it still boost damage like it used to? And is that damage boost always active now?

I liked the cabin before, and I suspect I’m going to love it now. It’s really good with Lucifers.

apparently not. you still have to trigger the reload manually but its unlimited now with no cooldown.

it boosts damage but only when you use the perk to reload. its going to be really devastating on lucifers because the boost lasts till you fire all your rounds. but again its situational to. the lucifer has limited ammo and… not a whole lot of ammo… theyd work best on the lucifer but you need to be careful on how you use it.

Can you trigger it when the chambers are empty now? Waiting for it to reload before you could reload was super annoying.

nope. i tried it.

So the only thing that changed is that the reload buff is constant now? Or that there’s no recharge on the manual reload?

I wish the damage buff wasn’t dependent on triggering the manual reload. Especially for a gun that uses ammo like Lucifer. Although I’m starting to get the hang of not completely emptying the chambers before triggering the manual reload.

there is no cooldown when triggering the manual reload. you can reload as much as you like.

if it wasnt triggered by the manual reload i think it would get a bit out of hand.
but on the upside it lasts until it reloads so that lucifer will have a constant 20% damage until it needs to reload again. even if it gets low on ammo you can just reload it to preserve that damage boost.

For me, the problem is that if you empty the chambers of lucifer, you need to wait until it reloads before you can trigger the manual reload, which wastes an entire salvo of rockets.
Wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it didn’t take ammo like the other revolvers, but like you said, Lucifer doesn’t have a lot of ammo to start with.
I’m still excited to try it out tomorrow, but a bit disappointed that the change wasn’t what I thought it was.
