if you knew the real occult meaning behind christmas, i doubt you would celebrate it, or merrily wish it upon others 
Christmas has nothing to do with the occult. It’s the celebration of the birth of Christ (“Christ Mass”). When the Church was expanding into Pagan regions, it combined some aspects into the celebration (bringing trees indoors, swags of holly/mistletoe, etc., gift-giving) in an effort to keep the holiday “fun” and not disparage the traditions of the local populace. The focus of Christmas remains the birth of Christ; all else is just fluff.
Don’t even have to believe in any religion to celebrate it, or to be a good person.
