Anyone else feel that their need to have high price uncraftables as the “material” in these mini passes is getting kind of stupid by this point?
Like in the current one the material is a Fin Whale, and there is not a mf dumb enough to use a fin whale to craft any of the fused legendary items they are “offering” (had to put something in there for appearances sake) are worth a single unfused fin whale at all
I mean all the fused items are for the most part always the same guns we have had for years now, so why can’t they for example use something like Annihilators, or Vultures for the crafting? Would it really crash the marketteroonie so bad and take away all the profittiroonies?
They need to stop hard wiring these mini passes into only being able to be made use of if you bought the pass itself. You can only use the same old items for so long until it gets ridiculous. What’s the next pass gonna be, Trombones again? This is making all workpieces, which are already very worthless, even further worthless when most of them seem to use one of the token mini pass items like Averter or Trombone, none of the items are worth crafting with a workpiece, let alone without one because of artificially trying so so hard to not let any player have any kind of profit in this game

The new mini BP Cryogenic weapons already being rerun ?!
The only reason I would purchase a Mini BP would be the coin, Engineer badges & crates. Crafting, Yea some say thats the way to obtain fused weapons, However lately I haven’t noticed enough difference to justify the burning off $10 .
NOW you say its stupid?
dude ive been saying this for so long that its stupid and unfair that all these uncraftables are used in making other things. give us the damn permanent blueprints for christ sake! im tired of watching these limited items go sky high in price cause some wack job thinks its funny to increase the prices that high cause theres a limited number of them in game. then they add more in artificially with battle passes and mini battle passes just to offset the limited number of them. its getting old and it needs to fricken stop!
It is getting stupid and these mini bp’s are terrible value as well but as long as it keeps selling like hotcakes then nothings gonna change period so the game is pretty much frigged from now on.
I just ignore the mini-passes. They’re really only useful for people who missed the Battlepass that the items originally came with.
You unlock two recipes for Fin Whale and craft one or two and fuse or do not. Then at level 49 you receive the included Fin Whale you then convert into something else.
Furthermore, the Fin Whale recipe requires upgraded cryogenic weapons. Two of each are included. So, you sacrifice 4 Epic weapons to craft 2 upgraded epic weapons to sacrifice them for the Fin Whale to sacrifice for a different upgraded legendary item.

The mini passes were always a crappy idea. Don’t get me wrong I still like the game but that’s a bad way to take it, into p2w territory further than it was.

Maybe right now, items added to mini-bp tend to be picked because they are high priced. After two of each purp and one gold is released and added to the market, prices will drop a lot. Mark my words it’ll drop to 4k and then will be a decent trade for guaranteed fuses. In other words, mini-bp is intended to LOWER the prices on the market.

in OTHER other words, its bad business practices.
dont get me wrong, im all in favor of a company earning money, but all these years the only things that have come out is battlepasses and mini battlepasses, each of which they keep charging money for. this is fine though. what ISNT fine though is how they do this stuff. instead of having permanent blueprints in the game allowing us to make said items whenever we want, they make the items limited and thus drive up the price of them only to trickle in additional items in battlepasses here and there and then release items that use those items to build in said battlepass to “entice” people to buy them to make a said item. this is EXTREMELY bad business practices and makes the company as a whole look really greedy and bad.
yes it may lower the prices but the intended purpose of these mini battlepasses are so blatantly obvious even Sherlock Holmes himself would cringe.

there is a hilariously overpowered part that happens to costs a shitton. here, you can pay us money and thank us for regulating the market for the benefit of the average player
