We should be allowed to use local storage to house builds and upload builds we want to use into the blueprint spots.
Won’t happen. I know from experience, once you can store stuff like that on your own pc, you’d eventually be able to figure out how to modify it and give yourself extra goodies. Back in the 80s and early 90s, when most games were single player, people would modify files to speed up their progress, like giving themselves more credits, weapons, etc, or altering parameters to get them over some hurdle they couldn’t pass in the game. (It was called “cracking”.) I did it, and plenty of other folks did it too. Some would post their discoveries on dialup BBSs (forerunners to the internet as we know it today). Damn I’m getting old…
While that may have been an issue in the past.
A simple validation check could prevent those kinds of exploits. It’s a good point to bring up.
…and people are still using building glitches and other exploits and the devs haven’t gotten rid of that garbage.
