I keep trying to capture bases and kill along the way like you are supposed to in this mode. Bases give points for kills, the more bases you have the more points per kill you get per kill. There are far too many in that mode that have no idea about this rule, and just completely ignore the bases. IF YOU GO INTO THE “ENEMY IN REFLECTION” MODE, CAPTURE THE GOD DANG BASES!!! I was up to 50 points away from getting the duck at gold league, and now I’m at 70, going back and fourth between those numbers. All the idiots in that mode need to capture the bases AND THEN kill everyone. Can you tell I’m a little mad? I think I’m doing okay most matches, but the stupid “team” (very loosely used term) keeps failing and making my rank go down, and I get farther and father from the duck I want so much. It would be so much easier if I didn’t depend on imbeciles to get my duck. I know a duck doesn’t seem nearly that important to most, but I want it so much. 
Seriously though, capture the bases!!

dont worry though, your team mates are flinging their IQ that they wish they had at the enemy. idk if thats a blessing or not though.

This game really struggles with anything involving any form of team play these days that is outside playing together as a group or clan, like way back there was some common sense but to me it feels like the shift towards “ME FIRST” and ramming gameplay has translated into a playerbase who can not do anything else than aim to be the first person to ram into an enemy the moment the match starts, no matter if it’s a brawl, mission, raid or anything in between
Just look at normal pvp matches, it’s just big clumps of people ramming into the enemy or into an enemy already being rammed, pushing away “teammates” and blocking anyone from firing at the enemy because MY ENEMY MINE I RAMMED THIS MINE MUST RAM THEM ALL OUT OF THE WAY ANY OTHER PLAYER THAN ME
And then when a brawl happens where you would need some grand sense of things rather than just going ME ME ME W W W! we get how this whole brawl and many past ones have been in general

the teamplay aspect of crossout is a pathetic joke, out of the many hours i played today i could literally count the games where we had any teamwork on my two hands
