The Morta, Likes , dislikes? what combos work for you? Reload: Seems slightly slow. Power just doesn’t have the punch I was hoping for. But then its new and a learning curve follows.
So, What is your general consensus on the Morta?
i tried it with the hadron, reload booster and a king… yeah the reload rate on it is pretty hilarious.
still though i feel that alot of reloading weapons in the game take way to long to reload nowadays. the incinerator isnt to bad but with the hadron ALOT of weapons reload so much faster and its extremely noticable. the jotun takes a while to reload without any kind of boost. hell if my hadron could hold cannons id add them onto it to but sadly cannons are to heavy.
id say hadron, king, reload booster and morta is best.

Big like from me. The slow projectile is really reminiscent of early days Quasar, before it got all those projectile speed buffs, so I feel right at home using it and sometimes managing to pull off tricky shots with it. I find that rather than a support or long range type of gameplay, playing really aggressively with it is the way to go. Leave long range support to Kaijus and Thyrsus, this thing likes to be up in an enemy’s behind. You should make use of the piercing ability of a weapon to make it pass through as much of a single enemy as possible, rather than trying to hit multiple builds in a group
The damage blocking part of it is kinda neat, you can cancel out cannon shots, avalanche shots and another Morta pretty easy, which is pretty handy, I have managed to “block” an enemy from shooting at a teammate with it.
The damage of the gun is pretty ok imo, as far as non-meta weapons goes this thing is really effective, taking 2-3 shots to kill or seriously cripple a build. The way to use it seems to be that you want to shoot a build in a way that the shot passes through as much of the build as possible, so in a straight line from the front to the back, or back to front, rather than from the sides of builds.
I like going full reload with it, with a Deadman and a reload booster. Extra points on this counting as an energy weapon so you can make use of Claws, Quantum etc things with it. My favorite high energy single gun-type of gun currently. Have not gotten as much MVPs as with this gun in a while

I took the advise and used the Hadron and a K-2 re-loader . I haven’t a King perhaps in the future… So I played a few patrols. It did okay but it seemed as I wasn’t a threat & was able to go about without a lot of issue. Ducking & diving between reloads.
Next step was testing it out in Adventure mode. Practicing and learning this unique weapon. Adventure mode made for an excellent practice range. No other players to screw with you except for bots. Unlike Bedlam… The Opportunity to pick up some XP & scrap. I would like to try it out fused to see its full potential . other than the perk given in the event rewards
I made the mistake of taking into a leviathan invasion battle. Not good enough for that mode
