Myriad ability / hp

how does this ability even work?
i tested these little legs out in the garage and they seem to act really weird. (no i didnt buy battlepass levels or anything, im using builds in the exhibition to test out the legs)
so i would run into the explosive barrels and sometimes it would disable a leg, it would wait a bit then come back to normal function. then when i would hit 2 more barrels the legs would just fall right off. im confused here… the leg is supposed to regenerate right? does it only regenerate a certain amount of damage over a given time frame?
so i hit one barrel and it does nothing. i hit another barrel which disables the leg and causes it to regenerate. after the regeneration i hit another barrel, nothing happens, i hit another barrel and the leg just falls off being destroyed. am i missing something here? these legs operate really weirdly to me.

this is just weird. its supposed to disable itself after every 40% damage taken. then its disabled for 7 seconds while it restores its durability. does it have two separate durabilities?? one for the little legs and one in total for the actual connector to the car?

Hello,
It sounds like the regeneration mechanic is tied to a damage threshold rather than full durability recovery. If the legs disable at 40% damage, they likely restore a fixed amount over 7 seconds, but repeated hits might exceed their total durability, causing them to detach. Try testing with controlled damage to see if the regeneration cap is separate from overall durability!

Yeah it works kinda weird, but basically it’s not as durable as it’s been let on. The perk is a big nothingburger for the most part, but if I understood it right, it works like this. Let’s say for example the Myriad has 400 HP (it was something like that)

So you have 400 HP on the part, one leg gets disabled, costing 40% of that 400, your Myriad with 1 leg active now has 240 HP (400-40%=240). If you take no further damage to the part and your leg regenerates, you now have 240 + 40% = 336 HP. It does not regenerate to full health, it’s always plus or minus 40% to current overall health

Taking damage to the part beyond leg disabling also costs from it’s HP pool, for example first leg has been disabled (400 -40%) and you have 240 HP on the part now, then the second one is disabled so it’s (240 -40%) 144 hp. Then you take more damage to the part with both legs disabled, but not enough to destroy it, let’s say 44 so now the total health is at 100. First leg regenerates (100 + 40%) and now the part has 140 hp, second leg regenerates (140 + 40%) 196 HP. Your Myriad now has a total hp of 196 and can be shot off by absolutely anything

At least I think it works this way, this game is really bad at explaining how anything works, but basically you don’t regenerate back to 100% health, they die slower than they would without the perk, but the part still does take damage rather than be immortal, just at slower rate than normal. Which, with what was it, 400-500 Hp is not really much.

Like for example your one leg gets disabled, total part Hp at 240 now, and then a powerful gunshot destroys the part right away as it only has 240 hp.

i had a feeling thats how it functioned but thats pretty bad… whats the point of a regeneration ability if it doesnt restore the hp to not just full but also has incredibly low hp? i mean 500 hp is nothing in this game. a commit can do easily 700 damage and knock one off right away. other guns can also output that much damage in little time. hmm… i mean you can have multiples of these legs but still they wont last long even with that regen ability.
