I spent some time making a design that turned out not to work very well, and I would like to remind you not to place horizontally launched missiles lower,It also has to do with the big foot, which lowers the side when turning, which causes the missile to shoot to the ground
I still have it on exhibition and it’s called bigfoot pyre Also, I wish pyre could mirror inversion, like tracks and bigram do

im sure they might rework it in the future because the perk is so bad and the cabin isnt used much. they want to make it unique and useful with rockets. so i assume that they will. i mean why not take a gamble on it? other weapons got buffs they didnt need and other things so… why not this one?

Im playing my 7 trombone Griffon annoyance vehicle this morning with Jay in the cab when i run across this topic between matches. I always thought Dusk perks looked crap but im a lil bored running the same build and the cab is cheap so i buy… i remove a lil armor…i replace Griffon with Dusk.
So far in the few matches ive ran its been surprisingly positive. This is just my have fun annoy the enemy support build and the speed and damage aint hurting plus jay speeds the rockets up too a tad plus her damage perk coming into it as well.
Im going to keep running the build though some more and see how it does on the larger maps and in different situations.

I had some luck a few months back with the Trombones and Dusk, but I added a Nest to smack’em with when they were hot. Maybe I’ll try that again.
Trying to win with the worst possible equipment Crossout has to offer is an odd hobby I suppose, but I keep doing it anyway. I don’t know why. It’s more like playing with the game than just playing the game, like making a paper airplane with your Monopoly money instead of buying Vermont with it like you’re supposed to.
I see I’m not alone in this.

What I personally don’t like about Dusk is that it’s a husk of rusty metal which cannot be painted on. Just a few spots doesn’t count. i want it to be fully covered in X paint/material I choose.
I re-attempted… this seems to work much better than raising the front. Raise the side the Pyres fly out of.
This is only really an “alpha” build… much more to do. This is too heavy, too long, and far to ugly, but it’s kind of a proof of concept, I suppose.
Through a handful of matches, the Pyres only went into the ground when that front Large Wheel was knocked off by that falling tower.

I’m not hella keen on it’s looks, but I liked enough to post it on the Builds page, because it’s fairly functional.
I swapped out the Pyres for a couple Trombones, and it works a lot better. So, it’s got a Hardcore,Chameleon, Maxwell, a couple Trombones, and a Nest.
I think the combo works as well as anything I’ll ever come up with , and maybe I’ll polish up its looks later. None of it is is fused but the Hardcore, so I guess it’s doing pretty good? I’m getting my scrap, making it to the ends of matches, and generally not getting pwnd…PVP is real unpredictable about that though.
I ought to take it out and do my Copper Patrol. I bet it would handle that just fine…I’ll have to dress it up like a Patrol car though. I can’t help it.

The cab is garbage because devs didn’t show a Brand New Vehicle Pack ® with that cab. Yet.
As soon as they make that new pack Dusk is gonna get a rework. Because, you know, CaPiTaLiSm isn’t going anywhere. And XO has got the ugly side of it.

You gonna laugh but I just met a fella with Dusk+Pyres. In a raid. Scavengers raid. That mate had to destroy them barely 20m away but he did destroy them, during those few times I watched him.

I hope so…I mean, I hope they fix it. I went ahead and bought two, because they were so cheap and they suck SO bad, I figure they are ripe for a rework followed by a price increase on the market.
Having said that, I kinda feel the same way about homing missiles as I do about drones; it’s better if they kinda suck. I get sick of being mobbed by aim-free weapons. Kids who actually have to aim their weapons to play should get more out of it than kids that don’t, IMO.
Don’t get your hopes high though. Ghost is still a crappy cab.
And this is the reason this game should’ve been a full MMO instead of… instead of what it is now.
