Tusks can be murderous at 12k when combined with hammerfalls.

I got bored tinkering with this, saw the Dusk thread, and started tinkering with that.

I’ve not seen a Tusk build without boosters for years, almost right after the Tusk was introduced people were slapping boosters, maybe on console not on PC

flinging, you took offense because I thought you sounded like a different dude whining about the same thing so fling a tantrum and names. All you had to say is it wasn’t you and that Tusk was buffed recently respectfully, I don’t use that cabin so I don’t know if it got buffed or you just suck!
Maybe if this Clan Wars update works (I think it’s going to be a disaster in the long run) we could start an all Tusk Mob.

i didn’t say it was god tier, i said dealing over 2k of damage in under 30 seconds of a match starting, is kinda broken,

Some guys in this forum have no idea how to have a conversation with a real person. They think if your opinion is something different then what they think then you are now in an argument. Then the insults and back handed comments start rolling in.

I saw the build you posted in the comment thread and I could probably pop it by just ramming you with hatchets or wing blades without a tusk cabin 50% of the time
Plus popping generators and other exploding stuff actually damages the tusk cabin least with hatchets etc if this get damaged they fall off, if the tusk cabin takes too much damage you blow up, seems balanced to me, doesn’t seem that way to you cause you have a different view point!

It’s only worth it if you enjoy playing things just for the challenge. It’s still fun, but yeah… it’s still a challenge.
I pulled this ugly thing out of my exhibition… I’d forgotten it exists.
This silly thing was just an effort to see what insanity I could make with the Tusk.
The wheels are almost completely in-line, making it very narrow, so theoretically harder to hit if it’s coming right at you. There’s a drone in there, but that’s probably useless, actually.
Still, fun to play…

Ouu! I love my tusk build, its so fun for me trapping people, especially hovers! I like the way mass cables hold them while they float about in panic!
Cloak in… no boosters on my build…trap em with 2 kaps and 4 juboko mines while team mates shoot them as i come back around for the tusk ram. Its not always wise to hit everytime u get the chance due to situational events around you and self damage…ive found.
I just got a 6 kill game in which was fun.

Played a match last night on the map with 3 giant holes - whatever that’s called - and the other team had a Tusk player.
I saw him coming from way off, so got well to the side & started spraying him (I was using a quad machine gun build). As I sprayed, he drove through the player furthest forward on the right & cloaked up. Then, he turned around and drove through another who - bizarrely - hadn’t paid any attention to him. I started spraying again, but he hit the boosters & drove through two more player & took the wheels off another before darting behind cover & cloaking back up.
I drove into the closest hole available.

I was on last night but it wasn’t me. I dont use boosters on my tusk build (i used to).
Sounds like a cool battle though…ill try to post my 6 kill vid… pretty sure i recorded it.

funny i love playing tusk its rewarding to 1 pop a person but it also comes down to the build / what you do with it.
also droner tusk is realy useless. those players barely use the perk of the cabine.
also asking tusk to be nerfed is stupid it would make the whole cabine lose its value and perk.
its made to ram people just try to kill the enemy player before he gets you… or get more protective bumpers on the build stil.
Ive killed pvp match 3,5K hp build… and i have a hit i could remember of 5K white and yellow total ± but those high hits are rare.
second to that if you make a mistake playing tusk and hit somebody on a wrong piece or part or the tusk just fails to do its main perk / most of the time you are DEATH with such a failure.
ive played enough tusk but saying that it should be nerfed feels like a stupid understanding.
maybe go play it you’re self and save up some coins
the tusk platform is kinda locked in 6.5K p.s ± till roughly 9k p.s before it loses its useability. in the game.
- highly depends on what you build.
Droner tusk and kingmine tusk dont tend get high p.s games.
Lance tusk / booster hybrid or just Boost tusk ive also build 1 with a under mounted yongwang before but its a bit suicidial to play.
Im stil working on different ideas for tusk ive also tried draco / under mounted pulsar (but this one would kill myself with a hump in the terrain) XD
Ather one ive build i call gasgen installer it has trombones on it and lances next to a gasgen to instal into ather people. (doesnt always work als planned might need redesgine it).

I mean… I’m amazingly talented in this game. Really, I’m probably the best out there, so sticking around to pull off the inevitable 1v8 clench (or is it clinch?) often just feels like I’m show-boating.
So, to save other people from humiliation, I just went spelunking.
Either that or I was grinding the challenges & wasn’t in the proper condition to play well anyhow. 
I mean, I took this into PVP last night. Not my best performance.
